I see so many farms who keep Christmas up year round! I'm keeping my grave yard up too! I really like it. I will keep it in its own area. When Christmas comes I will probably keep that up too! I love themes! I never want to take Christmas decorations down at home either. But I have to, I wait till January though. I start decorating for Christmas a day after thanksgiving. If not in the USA it's the last Thursday in the month of November.
I will keep the graveyard too but not the pumkins. Took the summer items off display, all my farm is covered with plants (an a big fat red tractor now, hehe). I am hoping for a snowman n winter!!
We've not made up our minds yet -- will ask the peachie cofarmer what she wants on the fields and go from there. :)
I love the Halloween decorations, but they will go into storage tomorrow beside the summer stuff. This will be my first Hay Day Christmas, and I am eagerly waiting for the trees and other terrific items I see on other farms.
The pumpkin stuff I will put into storage, but the spider tree, the tomb stones and the fence are not halloween-y to me - they are pretty much timeless :D
For Christmas/winter time I hope they will bring back the frozen ponds. I really really want them :) This will be my first HD Christmas too.
I agree about Halloween decorations and will keep mine up until at least the end of November. Halloween is one of my favorites. Do you think we'll find out who's/what's in the mine before the theme disappears? Wish the little people would dress as pilgrims and we'd have cornucopias and turkeys available. Guess that's being selfish tho since it's only a USA holiday. How do you store decorations on the farm? When stored, are they always available or do they disappear after a while? Might like to store some summer flowers and gnomes if I can find them again in the spring. Happy Halloween!
Yes, click on the item hold it for a second. You will get three options, garbage can, the circular arrow, to rotate the item and the storage box, click on it, the storage stays there until you are ready to use it. I love Christmas! Can't wait until the Christmas deco's come out! My first Christmas too! Hear that SC bring out lots of Christmas stuff! Do it up big!!Quote:

The Halloween decorations have been really cute. I will leave some of them until the Christmas decorations are introduced again. This will be my second Christmas and I am in hopes of some new items this year. The snow we had last year was a nice touch, hope SC gives us snow again. The snowman is one of my favorites along with the Christmas tree. SC really does a nice job with the holidays. Thanks SC!

I'm going to put them away except for the headstone. I'm going to keep that and pretend it marks the body of a neighbour I killed for asking for 20 bags of sugar. It will be a warning to Greg and Mary Poppins and the rest of 'em!
Actually put Halloween away two minutes before I saw this thread. Would love to have thanksgiving theme. When do you think they will take the costumes off the animals?

I'm going to keep my cemetery up as well in the corner of my farm. The pumpkins will have to go for now. I love the wrought iron fence and just bought more today before they are gone for good. I think they can be used for many things, not just Halloween. I just wish that they bordered up to the white picket fence better.

I tried clicking on a pumpkin hanging in a tree and holding it down for a second. Nothing happened. Is this the way to put them in storage, or am I supposed to do something else? Will I need to do it for each item? And what about the animals, how do you take off their costumes for storage?

Those hanging pumpkins don't belong to you and they will disappear when SC takes the costumes off the animals. So you can't store them because you didn't buy themQuote:
