There is just one more day left of the pumpkin pie global event and most of us accomplished the personal goals. Do you think the next event will be a global or a non-global one?
Since the current one ends tomorrow, does it mean we will have to wait until Th/Fr of next week?
I am truly looking forward to whatever comes. I have gotten used to the changing-strategies during an event. It is fun!
I'm hoping for a non-global one, either boats or visitors, since I don't do truck orders that much. Nothing against the globals, but churning out the same type of pie day after day has thrown my barn into chaos, and left me with low supplies of other kinds after filling boats and helping crates. I'd not like to wait a week for a fresh event, but a few days to restock and recover would be nice.
I hope its non global
I would really like a double vouchers or little people event. I don't mind much if it is a global event or not. We could sell globally to the little people :)
I'm really really REALLY hoping for a non-global event this time as I find boat, truck and little people events more interesting. Hope we have a couple of days to restock because I'm clearing everything out to make coins for the lobster pool upgrade. Want to start with something in the barn for the next (hopefully non-global) event. :D
I stopped thinking when it comes to SC decisons, they never think as I think. Thinking is overrated anyway.
I do in fact HOPE (and almost burned my house down because of lighting too many candles to support my prayers) for something which doesnt make us producing the same over and over again for almost one week, how boring is that. Is boring for a boat and that needs only 4 hours or a few more to recove from the aftermath.
Global is nice but as everthing, variety makes it interesting, repition is not really thrilling. No matter which of the old events comes next, any of them is welcome for a change :-)
I'm also hoping for non-global! I tried to participate in the first one, but the second one I determined it just wasn't worth the time and stock, so I did two levels of my personal goal and that was it. I don't think I'll participate in the next global at all unless it's something easily made, like wheat. I need my stock for boat and truck orders which give vouchers. :)
I too hope the next event is not a global one, the first was something new, but this second one...i just gave up after the first lv.
I've been doind truck order just for the exp, to lv up, but it takes to long and it cost's a lot of coins, so i'm always on the red, i've even stop donating things because of this :(
Also why this cicles?
Why not a lightning even, 1 day, or even like the gost, every day during 1h a diferent event?
1 day mining prizes, the other coins, the other vouchers, something un-expected, like have 50 cow food on you barn at the end of 1h, the neighbor is 500 corn, not sure.
Also this even would happen at the same time as the weekly event, just to take the focus out of the main.

Seems like this pumpkin pie event has gone on for a month! I guess that's because with the help of the pumpkin pie thread I was able to make my personal goal so fast!!! I'm hoping they switch them out with global and the regular ones.
Well, the pumpkin one was fun with the seasonal prizes and the number of pies needed wasn't so crazy compared to the b&e challenge, BUT I'm so ready for a nice double coin/double vouchers boat event. Or the villagers one or the truck orders one. Any of them :D
Yes, it did feel like a month. And it is still going on. I found the hint early and was able to purchase some pies before the event started. So, I was able to accomplish the personal goals within two days.Quote:

Non global we hope -- VISITORS is our fave, but double voucher boats would work too. We are 4 pink vouchers away from our last pet - the Andalusian :)
Never understood the hoopla with the global events. To each their own.
My total B&E contribution was zero....contributed 6 pumpkin pies for the diamonds. End of story.

This event ends 10 minutes before a new one is usually released. Can we expect one so quickly?
Rather not have these global events was a waste for me to use up the 77 pumpkin pies, all i got was 4 halloween decorations that wont be usefull soon, and 1 axe.
fish event next! the fish event mentioned in the update has not appeared, halloween has come and gone its going to be 45 mins in my timezone to 2nd nov, so i am assuming other countries thats behind me should be nicely over into the 1st.
where are the halloween fishes? they going to wait til xmas to do it? :cool::p

I really, really would hope that it's a non-global event. The truck/boat/little people events are more interesting because they require various products, plus they offer better rewards. Honestly, I just completed the first level on this last event so I could track how the event was going and sold my extra pumpkin pies to my friends/neighbors, but I'd much rather make different products than just churning out the same thing and tying up my machine with one product for a week. PLEASE let this next even be a non-global one! :)

My guess is that the next event will be another global event. The reason I think this is because I believe the non-global events were "turned off" during the last update since they introduced with the global events. I believe it would take another update to "turn on" the non-global events again. But my guess is that SC is reading how the player base likes/dislikes these global events and maybe they'll try to tweak things in the next update. By tweaks, I mean changing the items required per level AND the main item needed globally.
What I would like to see is random items needed per individual player in the global event in each level, but one main item needed globally.
For example:
(Player A)
Global item needed: Hamburgers
Tier 1 item needed: Bread
Tier 2 item needed: Apple pie
Tier 3 item needed: Cherry juice
Tier 4 item needed: Fish soup
(Player B)
Global item needed: Hamburgers
Tier 1 item needed: Popcorn
Tier 2 item needed: Blue sweater
Tier 3 item needed: Carrot cake
Tier 4 item needed: Berry juice
I may be completely wrong since I'm just speculating though... :p
