Do you remember your fresh spawn days? Habit you had or mistakes happened? Any of your threads taken down? Or anything else? :smirk:
For me, I was really fond of making polls. Also once asked question of when is the next update when the current one was just 2 days old.

I just stayed in the background in the early day and lurked without even making an account for at least a year, then I was too scared to post very much for a long while, got my voice during the removal of sniping :) and was very vocal at my dislike of this decision :)
Came to the forums to give ideas on 2 new troops on COC. I actually read the Forum stickies on how to make a proper thread with the details and stuff lol. Didn't get too many views in IFR (ahh the place where ideas go to die :( )
I've made some questionable posts and threads. Don't really want to talk about them lol.
I made a number of IFR requests with varying reception. I didn't post anything that was ruled out or anything like that, but some of my ideas just weren't meant to be.
Other than that, I don't remember too much. Spent most of my time in IFR

This wasn't my first game forum, so I kind of watched for a while and slowly eased into things before I started commenting. Still, though, I've probably created only about a half dozen threads in all my time here.
I always used to be like "I hope im posting this in the right place. If not just remove it or send it there" xD those were the days...
I only played Clash then and was totally paranoid about getting rubbished as soon as I posted but to be honest it was a much less knowledgable place back then which was really nice in some ways as you didn't feel silly asking any questions.
I can't go into specifics of what happened because I would be in trouble again but I did fall foul of a scary Mod with a deceptively pleasant Fairy avatar...fully deserved I have to say and I've been a good boy ever since.
I had a terrible habit of tweaking Mods by the tail but thankfully it turned out they had a sense of humour and I did always try to be respectful.
Came to the forum with "new" ideas without reading any of the stickies and got immediate comments telling me to read the frequently requested ideas sticky. Also used to be a lot more confrontational when people made objections to me, but realized later on it's better to just give respectful disagreement.
Ahh I know... The first time I got negative rep, it was so upsetting. (That negative rep was deserved though). But it doesn't bothers me much now anymore. Or maybe just that I only got only 2 negatives reps in my forum life time so not much experience. :smirk:Quote:

Forums grew on me. My first and only games forum, and I had heard bad things about game forums (in general) from a clanmate, so I was pretty cautious and lurked for a while, reading strategy guides and base design journal.
Eventually I made an account because I wanted to ask someone about something. Posted mostly on boys vs girls and whatever counting threads I could find because that's all I had time for, lol. But people seemed pretty nice and helpful for the most part. Wasn't sure what the deal was with friend requests--whether new people were supposed to send them, or wait to be invited to be friends with someone, lol. I thought it was more for irl friends, or people who played other games together, so I was pretty shy for a while.
Wasn't sure what to make of these people I found lynching and killing each other in my activity feed. XD
Then I started looking at bios to see what people put in them, started sending the odd VMs to people and getting to meet people that way. Posted an idea in IFR which got shot down right away, so that was the last of that, lol.
I always VMd myself. Still do. XD
I'd rather not talk about back then.

I have never made a single mistake in these forums, all my posts are of exceptional quality and have a health warning that says 'reading this post will result in you nodding so hard in agreement that you get concussion'.
I created account long ago in 2015 as I wanted to post a thread regarding our clan got banned for false report. It was 14 days ban which got reversed in 3 days post investigation.
After that. I was just visiting and watching posts now and then. But after reading the comments during December 2015 update. I preferred to stay as a guest. However, post that recently got active and having fun by spreading happiness and bit of laugh among members.
And Now it has become a part of my daily life. Where I visit forums more than i login to the game.

Well I was scared, fearful, nervous and anything else that can be used with those words. I started in the I&FR of CR organizing a arena themes poll and from there made a group which did a Christmas Arena that I was really proud of.
Besides that I was clueless on a lot of forum features some of which I didn’t know what they were until this June... in all honesty I still don’t know what all the buttons do ,but I guess I don’t need them since I haven’t run into a problem in posting anything.
Yes. I made a few clan recruitment threads for multiple clans (about one sentence each). XD
I apparently irritated people early on. Had a few flame like discussions. Had a long list of forumer’s ( including a current mod) who probably wished every day I’d go away and take my cat pics with me...
now im reformed. (ish)

This is my first forum and I clearly remember signing up here to rant about not getting Miner in shop for 2 long months. I also remember that Ajax rightfully closed that thread after my rant continued for over a couple of week and he told me not to create a similar thread in his closing statement. :)
I kinda remember every small bits of my forum journey, the mod interactions, making some cool friends, first Red card etc etc. Now that I look back I kinda selfishly feel elated to have come this far from where I started. All I can say is how one conducts himself plays a huge role in how long he can survive in here without taking long long breaks.
I have a doubt that how does a person get promoted to elder from fresh spawn in the forums.
Forum titles like fresh spawn, elder, veterans etc are posts dependent.Quote:

Decided some longtime ago that I would just learn from here, help others here, and not discuss :smirk: here.
This is my first game forum, but I'm no stranger to online forums because I have read and posted in Usenet newsgroups for many years so I'm familiar with Netiquette and practice it often. The key difference is that the Supercell forums are moderated so unlike my posts to Usenet, my posts to SC forums may be edited or deleted by the moderators aka the Mod Squad. As I read the forum rules and began to process them, I accepted the restrictions on my speech as a reasonable price to pay for the high signal-to-noise ratio in these forums.Quote:

She suggested that I use the multiquote function to reply to posters in one post instead of multiple posts. Ooops! I remember signing up just to advertise the clan of my siblings, it literally took me ages to know how I could upload a screenshot in that thread. I didn't know there's a rules thread that we all must follow, as well as ToS, didn't even bother myself reading full posts, just reading the first two words and moving along! Long story short, I was still in the bag.
It wasn't even called fresh spawn when I first joined.
Yeah, I remember it but not clearly. I remember my mistakes but I'll not talk about it.
