To really do a one hour gold hunt that is actually only one hour you need to start and end with army camps full of the same types of troops. Additionally the cost of searches and spells should be taken into account, throwing an extra million gold at the search button will almost certainly increase your gross gold income, but your storages won't thank you for it.

barch/WB gave me ~1.5m/hr average for 2 months of TH8, think my highest was around 2.5m in an hour. If I only got 1m, then i failed terribly. Recently switched to BAM since my minions hit lvl 4, loot seems to be the same with possibility of a little more. Did 5.5m in a few hours last night while watching sports with BAM.

1.7 million gold in an hour is good but as previously stated it's no where near a record. I wouldn't consider myself a premier farmer, but when I'm on my game I average 2,000,000 gold per hour as a TH8 using BAM/G

I feel that everyone is saying the loot is bad. It is not- just know where to loot. I am a th9, and I have gotten 5 600k+ raids on the past 6 days. Loot is pretty awesome right now. As a th 8 im averaging between 1-1.5 million gold per hour. My bedt ever was 2.3.

Everyone here stating that they are farming 1.5-2 mil gold an hour at th8 i find VERY hard to believe without gemming trooops.
I can farm around 1mil an hour with collector raids and some storage raids but when I am focusing hard and constantly attacking and looking for the right bases i dont see how you could reach 2mil.
I'm using BAM and unless you have a way of getting collector raids every battle i dont see how this is possible.
To me this seems like ppl exagerating their stories more and more to beat evryone else.
Could someone please elaborate on how they are constantly farming this much per hour and in what trophy range because i honestly can't see how this is possible.

This is exaclty what i do - although I have tried all ranges and I can find one within 25 searches or so. I find 1.1-1.3 the best for this but they are usually 100-200k collector raids. So even if i found 200k everytime and did this 6-8 an hour that is 1.2-1.6 mil at best - nowhere near 2-4 mil. And thats when that is the perfect scenario and considers that you can keep full concentration for this whole period.Quote:

There was someone on the forums a while back claiming he could do 2 mil an hour easy as a Th9, but when he started posting screenshots the results came out to more like 1.75 mil for a couple of lucky hours, and that probably was spending at least half a mil per hour on searches. I really doubt that any Th9 has ever actually filled their gold storages from right empty in under 8 hours, except for perhaps during the collector boost week.Quote:

Could any of you share a good troop setup for farming? I am currently using 8 Giants, 8 WB, 6 minions, and the rest gobs and archers (more gobs then archers). I would rather not use a lot of dark elixir. My troop capacity is 180 and it takes 20 minutes for theses troops to train. I need a low cost and low time troop setup to get a lot of loot. Please share :) I'm in the 1000-1200 range at TH7.
