With 3 mortars, triangle provides equal coverage. But as we're making something new, gotta experiment all possibilites :)

I know, having one superstacked container in the middle would solve so many problems. You could sneak it into the game, right? ;)

I literally made this in 5 minutes so excuse the terribleness. This is the core I would use when designing a vault - have xbows, cc and one mortar in the second layer. IMO a 9x9 core is just too big to protect properly. Funnelling is probably not a good idea since you want the maximum number of wbs needed to break into the core.

Getting the WB protection is important, but most attacks have spent all the WBs by the time the core wall would be next. Like the layout, though.
I like my 9x9 cores better :)

And here's even bigger core.
DE container is lightning "proof", so you don't lose gold when zapped.

Interesting take with a segmented yet vaulted base...may work amazing! I am very excited to post my pictures soon :)

when you say 9 by9 do you mean 3 across,3 deep with 9 buildings total? a 9 by 9 grid has 81 elements or buildings... if i understand what you guus are trying to say, perhaps a more acurate notation would be 3x3.

You know the majority of builders are 3 by 3 little squares right? Well 9x9 is just 3 buildings by 3 buildings. in a total of 9 buildings in the square. I think.

I'll play. So, imgur is not working for me right now, and I don't know any other way to upload images, so bear with me.

I made a new TH9 labyrinth vault that has been working amazingly well at high trophies. Anything that gets past the first merry go round can destroy three buildings then goes right back out. I think it could be effective to use the inner core of this base, and close it up. If anyone could upload a pic that'd be great. Toby in unity champions.

Interesting thread.

I was thinking of (and testing) a base with Tesla's in my core.
Why? because they have the highest DPS eventually.

this is a revised version of my current core, so now it's a 9x9.
let me know what you guys think.

Personally, I think a 9x9 core is to big.
Therefore, seperating the gold would be my choice.
but since that's off-topic, we won't dicuss that ;)

Well, as this is to be cake's base, guess we ought to slow down and see how he wants to take the project forward :)

Still haven't decided will the DE and gold be in same cloister :D
