A good DE farming combo for th 8?

Was that me? ;) I'm sure you can get it right back. After all we don't really steal the elixir as we temporarily borrow it...

Use an all archer army mixed with a few giants to snipe your way into crystal.

Then start zapping Th10s with wild abandon.

One attack on a maxed Th10 de storage nets 1.1k, and one attack every 22.5 minutes.

When you are cooking your spells, use your regular to farm gold and regain lost trophies.

If you are doing that hardcore, 20k DE a day is easily achievable.


But when the spell factory boost expires, then it's still better to get it the conventional way.

Yeah, i use that army composition when i raid for gold, but it doesn't work so well when raiding DE. It doesn't work well because you cant get the storage with those troop, you can only get full drills, which are very rare.

80 barbs, 104 archers, 8 WB, 1 of each spell

got all my TH7 DE upgrades with this in a month no lightning

This troop combo is not cheap...but I have gotten large amounts of DE from TH8 to even TH10... I'm TH8 with 200troops capacity btw, here's the combo:
•15 barbs
•25 archers
•16 Giants
•20 Wizards
•2 Heal spells + 1 Rage spell (FOR WIZARDS)

Strategy:
1.drop some barbs to check for traps.
2.Release all giants from where u find it closer to the DE storage. Remember giants are the wizards tank...
3. Just after the Giants get into the base, release 10-12 wizards in a wave...drop a heal spell when u come near wiz towers...
4.release the last wizards and when they are near the DE storage put down another heal spell with a rage spell...

Most I got was 2,900 from a TH9

You cannot have 4 spells at TH8.

How on earth did you manage to have 4 spells in your spell factory...

best way to farm de is goto master league (not easy but worth it)
snipe and zap de
u will get some de bonus plus the de u zap

Max drill first up...


Then, use a few pushing armies to get you DE. Maybe go up to C3 or G1 to find good DE loot...
After upgrading to TH 9, the DE drills pump 1000 each per night and are enough to stop me from farming for it. My drills are level 5 ATM, I'm saving to get em level 6 tho.

My BK is in the process of going to lvl 5 now.
I Barch with a couple wall breakers thrown in and
take 1-2,000 per night. My drill does another 1000/day
(45de/hour)
I typically can upgrade my king once a week with very little effort
