A good DE farming combo for th 8?

Use archers and a few giants to snipe town halls until Crystal II, then serial zap TH10's fat DE storage;

When your trophy drops, go back sniping town halls;

Repeat above steps.

You will soon have so much DE that you become a consistent being-3-starred magnet.

Hall 8 doesn't need much DE so just like normal.

Thanks for you all! The reason why i am raiding for de, is because i will soon upgrade th hall to level 9 and i have to have amaxed storage before that. I'm now at 50k :P

I stack up two barracks with barbs, and 2 barracks with archers. Fill them to the max, and you can attack every 10-15 minutes. Very efficient. As for spells, I use two lightning and rage. Only use them when needed, and because archers and barbs are so cheap, you'll always have full elixir tanks. P.S.... Barbs can break through walls like wb, pretty fast.

16 level 5 balloons, 60 minions (hopefully level 4), 2 rage, 1 lightning... 32 minutes training time, max., you will make a ton of elixer and should be able to aim for at least 2k DE profit per raid, if you get your trophies up and look hard. I used this as a new TH9, but with TH8 level troops and camps for the most part, so I know it can work and I made good DE profits, TH8 will make lots more from TH10 than I did.

You can raid in Crystal with this (I took mine to nearly 2500), and it can handle TH10 with infernos (which dragons cannot). Not every TH10, but enough TH9 and TH10 with 2-3k DE for your TH8, as long as they don't have really central infernos, upwards high level xbows, really central high level air defense, or high level wizard towers... weaker TH10 often have loads of DE, but rely way too much on their inferno towers, which even TH8 balloons and minions can handle as long as they don't have to travel too far.

Otherwise, just use barbs and archers, or giants and archers, with a few minions, somewhere around 1800+, and look for easy targets with a faster turnaround (should brew in under 20 minutes).

I am a th8 and i am going to TH9, so i am farming De, and I use
12 giants
10 wall breakers
32 barbs
44 archers
12 gobs
8 wizards.
These troops is about a 25 min build and i can get DE from most bases I see in the 1600s. i make around 8-10k DE per day if im active enough, and the army is working really well. Use barbs to lure heroes and Cc and to be first meat shield. Archers to clear entry way Giants to be meat shields and tanks, and wizards are the ones who provide most the DPS. Goblins are good if i i open up the DE compartment. this works perfectly and I highly recommend it.

Use healer giant

16 Giants
8 WallBreakers
40 Goblins
60 Archers

Look for bases with DE off-center and in the second row of walls.

Just use quick simple giants army (giants, archers, barbs , gobs and Wb's) and you will do fine, aim for atleast 1000 DE.
I maxed my king, minions and hogs on th8 by using this.

A loadout i really enjoy using is 12 giants, healer, 12 wiz, 12 WB, rest archers and gobs, 1 or 2 spells. It takes time to train, but I find I can hit anything upto mid level Th10's with it. 2K of dark is quite normall for me to get, which is nice cause chances are my town will get smashed for about 1800 the minute i go offline atm :)
