A good DE farming combo for th 8?

So, i am looking for a new army composition for farming dark elixir on th 8. Currently i am using 12 giants, 12 wbs, 40 barbs, 40 archs and 36 gobs. Also i have 3 rage spells and a lightning spell on my spell factory. I was wondering, do you guys have any ideas for better ones?

As A TH8 I used:
6 lvl3 Dragons
40 lvl 4 Minions
2 lvl5 Rage Spells
1 lvl 5 Lighting Spell

to farm DE. With this combo I was able to do all dark troop updates and my BK to lvl10 before I get to TH9

I was using 12 giants 8 wizzards 8wb and the rest a mixture of teir 1 troops i found that pretty effective, queue up your wizzards at the end and add 1 more so they are ready when you come back from raiding raged wizzards are boss at quickly destroying a de storage oh and add a heal spell for you giants!

I am just finding that both of this take a large amount of time, mine takes only about 20 minutes, so it wouldnt be so efficient

You talking about DE. The big amount of DE is deep insight the base. I was able to farm about 10k DE a day in avarage

Yes, i am talking about de. I have got an average of 1k per raid with those troops, and a army takes up only 20 minutes. However, sometimes i fail, and i wanted to know if there was any better, fast armys to get to the de.

I used 8 dragons and 20 minions (1 hr training time and if you queue them, even less). Every raid got 2k+.

2 words: lightning spells. :rolleyes:

Personally I like using 2 healers with 12 giants, 40 arch, 6 hogs, 12 minions and 2 wiz. I use 3 lightning. I can usually take 1 AD with the giants, 1 with the hogs, and 1 with the spells. After that, it's quite easy to get to the heart and steal the DE.
