New notification - 2 hours left to use remaining attacks.

We regularly have a few clan members who pop in at the end of war saying 'oh sorry, forgot.' Or 'sorry, didn't realise it was finishing so soon' etc.

To combat that, we send clan emails when there's an hour or two left to go. This spams everyone even though it only applies to one or two in the clan. Also it's just a boring clan management chore. So it's not ideal.

It would be helpful to us if there was an automatic reminder to folks who have an attack remaining near the end of the war.

Of course, if folks have turned off their notifications because they are getting too many, then they won't get either notification, but that's another thread:)

Nice idea. I would like it if there were options available for the leader to set. I like those who are not elders or co leaders to take their attacks by 8:00 pm so we can plan. Then there are a couple other reminder times that would be nice.

Still won’t help if they turned notifications off. We have a couple that are last min attackers that have them turned off because there are to many.

I wouldn't depend on SC to develop a good communications platform. Clan mail is terrible.

Not enough characters.
Game often times out while you are trying to edit to fit everything in within the character limitation.
You can only send one per hour.

Instead of more notifications, I'm afraid you have 2 options, neither of them ideal. Use a 3rd party app to communicate. Get better clanmates.

honestly i don't believe when people say they forgot to attack
i do believe they had somehing "better" to do and thought we could do without them
i had a member who used to pop up, ask his target and then vanish untill there was nothing remaining he could 3 star
people who cannot attack because of real life issues or net problems will not attack anyway

Nice idea, but generally people who are like that will remain like that. Everyone has issues sometimes, but some people always pop up late in the game.

There are TOO MANY notifications from this game.

SC, please add the ability to pick certain notifications on/off like in Hay Day before thinking of adding another one..

I think that you are seeking a technical solution to a people problem, that problem will always exist regardless. There is another solution for that problem though

This - being in war is about being accountable to yourself and team (clan) for ones actions/inaction. Electronic messaging however will not obviate the issue.

I don't think SC would want to give us a 2 hour notice. That is plenty of time to train army without gems. The few times I have been caught off guard and a war was about to end my gem pile got smaller.

Idk about you guys but I have a very advanced phone that comes with a calendar app that is equipped with a reminder. I use that to set the end of the war and to remind me when war is about to end. It even has this nifty ringtone feature where I can select which sound to use when reminding me.

I really want this one. I swear get more notifications from this game than I do from my email, and an "disable all but clan mail" option would be wonderful. That way people could avoid game notifications but still be alerted if need be. Wonderful idea

I already turned off game notification. Got too many of those and it was annoying.
I've never forgotten to do my 2 war attacks. It's part of being a responsible clan member to remeber when war ends.
People can always set up a timer or reminder if they are that bad about keeping track of time.
And barring real life emergencies, etc.... I really think some people have overused the "dog ate my homework" type excuses for not showing up for war.
