hi everyone who thinks we should get tom for 24 hours for free just for the day or even 4-6 go's on tom with all the updates and stuff messing up it would be really cool hay day if you did not even do i payed for tom for 10 days all the time but for 1 day free of him it would be so nice :)
That would be nice, but I wouldn't count on it. The only time he was free, as you know, was back at level 14.Quote:

Ye i think the people that have tom should add on hour or 2 that the severs have being down we pay for him for noting we should be able to use him for the time for pay for
I almost hired Tom yesterday...the time period would have overlapped this server maintenance...glad I didn't! (I feel lucky, this time. When is it ever safe to hire him, nowadays? I frequently have trouble connecting anymore.)

When I first saw the title of this thread just now, I read it to mean free Tom from his duties = give him a break, a holiday (after all he does keep saying he needs a rest.)
I hired him today for the 1st time since the free trial & am amazed at what a relief it is to have hired help. I've been struggling on my own & now I've started filling boats (at level 40 but I got into the fishing) I'm thinking that I can't do without him.
I think that the relief is mostly due tho to not having to compete with fast fingered folk who clear out the farm stalls of everything worth having just as I get there.... Sooooo frustrating & annoying -takes away from the nice neighborly feeling, (to say the least.) I propose we get Tom some extra help so that he doesn't have to take so many rests & put a limit on how many non-food items anyone can buy from a stall at one time...
Sorry I strayed right away from the thread there so yes please, a free Tom day is such a good idea.
