Am I the only one that doesn't like this idea? I did a search to see if there was a feedback thread, but I couldn't find one. I am missing the "old" event board: double vouchers for boat orders, especially. I just don't get this new thing. I don't really feel like it's worth the trouble to make 77 pumpkin pies to get 5 diamonds in rewards?
I want my double vouchers back! I'd even be happy to make more coins on the little people.
Is it just me?
I'd like to see some of the old events back (especially the boat ones), but I do generally like the global events. I am at a level in the game where I haven't got many more things to achieve so it's nice to have a goal and I like the social aspect of it.
I'm not fond of it either - as a new player on a relatively lower level, there is absolutely no way I can keep up with all the high rollers. Although I have taken advantage of the increased absence of certain items in the DD. I don't begrudge the higher level players their right to have fun in this kind of event but I do hope that the global events don't completely replace the smaller events, like the double vouchers, etc.
