Microphone bug

When i type and i try to swap keyboards to emoji. I accidentally click on microphone but i cancel it. The game lags and then crashes. Always happens and is a persistent problem. Please help me supercell, it always kicks me out of the game when i go onto microphone

Can you check how much free RAM you have, try to free up some if your getting close to it being used up. Also is your game totally up to date? There have been some Updates that weren't "forced" -meaning you could update them or not. If neither of these work, you may need to submit a Support ticket- instructions on how to do so can be found in this thread here towards the bottom under sections "A" & "B"-

Hi kendra and thanks. I have loads of RAM remaining and yes its up to date as i pretty much cant resist an update. Last time i submitted a ticket it took a month! :O

Yeah - OK- that thread I linked to you- is the iOs troubleshooting thread- can you give the steps in there a whirl? Just so we can rule them out? But as Dualsabers04 suggested a reboot may help- and is one if the troubleshooting steps in that thread.

Yeah ive tried and tested all the steps there. Reboot ive done that several times anyway but as soon as microphone is clicked, it works for 10 seconds, lags and then crashes. Thanks for suggesting tho

Its come as a surprise, its never happened on ios 6 but after ios7 my game has been buggy and really problematic

OK- I do know of 2 iOs 7 troubleshooting tips that helped a couple of Hay Day players with their crashing issues, these aren't "CoC" tested- but if your "game" (LOL) try these-

1) Go to General --> Reset --> Reset All Settings


2) SUBMITTED BY MEONHAC:Problem: Apps keep logging you out


Many users have encountered issues with apps like Mailbox and Snapchat logging them out. App developers are working on fixes and seem to be in agreement that the way iOS 7’s background refresh works is the problem.
Workaround:
Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and turn it off for any apps where you’re finding problems.
Solution:
You may have to wait for an update from the app developer or Apple to find a permanent fix for this one.

Let me know if those help- either one- we can add it to the CoC troubleshooting guide (I may anyway)

Maybe those may do something- after that- I got nothing, I admit! New device upgrades are hard to work out the kinks- and I'm really sorry. The good news (maybe) is there will be another CoC update soon. I wish I could have helped you more, but if you submit a support ticket- after a few weeks- I can help push it through if you need? Waiting a month is definately not right.
