You need to show ur base or else we cant say whats wrong with ur base.
its luck strategy and dont require skill.
I don't see a base but symmetrical AD placement can be easy prey for loons. Don't make it easy for hounds to tank.
try asymmetrical base with offset ADs and centralized queen in range of splash tower like bomb or wiz (to handle skeletons dropped on her head) .
For specific advice post your base here.
Centralized air defense (plus symmetric base) is weak against LaLoon. So if you have that kind of base change it. Also depends on town hall level.
most of the times opponents used to get 1* on me (% maybe 70-90 but still not th)
i consider it as most risky strategy, since below titan 3 most ppl used it got 0* on me
You know hounds go straight to the ads and loons path to the closest defenses so use that to your advantage.
-Keep ads out of range of wizard towers and teslas as both of those wreck loons.
-Place defenses near the outside if your base in a way that slows down the loons near defenses that will hit them hard. For example, place a cannon outside the wall , an at inside the wall, and a wizard tower behind the at so the loons have to path through both the cannon and the at while being hit by the wiz tower before they get to the wiz tower. You can also place a troll Tesla or two outside the base in a spot that will pull loons to a sub optimal spot for pathing.
-place red air bombs in spots where a hound isn't likely to pop them on the way to an air defence. They work especially well near splash defense like wizard towers and infernos.
-point your sweepers in a way that causes loons to be blown backwards while in range of splash defenses like wizard towers and infernos.
-avoid having a queen/inferno/air defenses that can be taken by heroes alone if possible.
2 ways:
-post your base so that we can advise
-create multiple accounts and post threads titled "laloon OP"
A few things I didn't see mentioned before:
Don't place sweepers within freeze range of Inferno. (also eagles, xbows, wiz towers, queen)
Don't have your queen tightly surrounded by several defenses. (Loon splash will kill her)
Unless you're setting a trap for a teaser base, point your sweepers in opposite directions.
And if you really want to get high speed, count the grid around your key defenses to path loons away. There are some beautiful bases out there that will make your loons dance around the infernos no matter what direction you came from.
All archers in cc can be devastating to air attacks, especially if they split and mess up the poison.
Bear in mind, if you reorganize your base to defend against laloon attacks, you'll be weaker against ground attacks. It's a quid pro quo...one affects the other.
I've chosen to utilize the tendency of the attacker to come in either on top or the bottom of the base. Almost never is an attack from the side.
Along with the advice of Archer and Wizard Tower placement ( set back, strategically apart yet supporting), I stacked every frippin' air bomb I have on top and two skellie set on air yet placed close to my TH. With one AD set on the outer ring tantalizing an attacker.
Last night, a laloon attack netted 41% and minimal loot. Boom...it hit that wall of bombs and disintegrated.
A few days ago, it came from the bottom and waxed my a**. Lucky I wasn't 3 starred ( 88% and took a load of loot).
Ive never been in a clan, don't have clan welfare so can't give CC advice.
Centralise your cc.
Take full minions for cc
OP there are many here who can give advice, and there are some good responses in this thread. It's hard to defend against everything, so if you compensate for air you might be more susceptible to ground and vice versa. In general, centralizing your CC (and possibly your Queen), keeping air defense at least 8 tiles from the outer wall, and carry CC troops that are usually good against air (such as minions, baby drag, or dragon).
Good luck.
I recommend what others have said about an asymmetrical base design. I use penta laloon as my Farming and War composition with a 96.67% success rate, to tell you the truth. If the player is experienced, then they are going to get what they came for. I usually never fail unless I don’t plan for infernos and sometimes EA or heroes are down for upgrading. Good luck.👍🏻🍀
