I think having flying defences might be a good idea for clash of clans, this would add to the game as players would have to think and build troops strategically to deal with bases with this sort of defence.
strengths
flying more sight eg more tile space
cant be attacked by giants hogs ECT....
Weaknesses
2x damage to lightning spells
low hit-points
Names i have not thought of and I don't know how a flying defence would look like any thoughts?
