HOW TO:Find and farm inactive bases

There are peak hours where I can consistently farm 1.5m gold an hr and sometimes the loot is just bad where I have to settle with 800-1m.

This is an interesting theory, and I can tell it is much debated already. (two pages O_O)
I overall want to say that its not wrong, to attack inactives for loot because they clearly aren't saving up for anything.
They may have quit Clash of Clans? In that case, taking their loot won't harm anyone, will it.
I agree we shouldn't rely on this strategy but if you are urgently in need of loot, its not wrong to try it out.

5) After a good hour or two of finding and attacking only all the lovely inactive bases, log off again (raid for however long you like really, just take a note of the length of time).


6) The next time you search in-actives will magically be much harder to find.


Repeat steps 1 to 6 over the course of a couple of days and see for yourself, also to keep it a little more scientific, at all steps of the test please make sure you count how many searches before you are given an inactive base.


The crux of this theory is: Don't always attack inactive players and you will be given them much, much more regularly.


I will be really happy if farmers could give me some feedback on this as it could all still be just luck with only me testing it out.

I've been trying this for a couple of days and seems to be working for me. I might start keeping some stats on it to establish a pattern.

This isn't working for me, for one. What cups range u havnt said that. Two do u hit th6 bases then reload the game. When you say log out do u mean close the app completely or just switch between apps

for me if I hit 2 active bases regardless of level then reset i still can't find inactive in about 5 searches which is your claim

I'm not selling snake oil ninja, just saying it the way i see it. The original post says theory a few times. Thank you for helping to test my theory :)

To answer your questions: The cups range I used was from 1300 to 1600.I was hitting active bases of a similar size to my own (th8). I turned the app completely off for a couple of minutes.

Just wondering, when you say in-actives are you talking about any inactive base or just inactive bases that you can loot a lot of res from?

Interesting theory, however, the goal is to get gold. If you take the time to burn your entire army searching and 1 starring an active you have wasted the time that you could be searching for a 200k+ collector raid. It's pretty clear that the number of Inactives goes down right after an update and on weekends so I don't even bother farming gold those times. However, I have found that no matter what time of day I play during the week I can find nice easy bases to farm and get that 2 mil gold per hour.

i will say I have never, ever, consistantly found inactives with only four or five clicks. I usually hit next at least 30 times to find the right base.

also, I've seen a lot of ppl saying they farm crystal. I tried that and as a th8 every time I had more than 20k DE I got wiped out within seconds every time I logged off (and yes my th is as exposed as it can get). So I don't see that being a good option for me personally.
