You used to be able to upgrade with no builder. but then everyone would dump all there gold into walls which ment no gold for raiding.
Im just saying logically you should be able to do that why not? Its the players choice to dump them in there walls... I all ready do that now its just it takes a builder which makes upgrading slower

There was a major problem a while back becuase of this. yes its the players choice. EVERY player would dump gold into walls. then there was nothing for us to raid. It was a Obama move.Quote:

Beacuse some people have 3 million gold and they have to wait 3 days for builder, and we can steal that gold for the 3 days. Then he dumps it into walls. If there were no builder requirement there would never be any gold. Do you understand now?Quote:

I know it makes sense but honestly I wish we didn't have to use a builder but it makes sense.
Trust me, if we didn't require builders to upgrade walls, there would be a large drop in gold that's available for looting.
