New forum pumpkin pie group?

Anyone want to band together and accomplish the event goals? I have 16 pies and 137 pumpkins in the silo. I DO NOT have Tom, and I DO NOT have diamonds to speed up production.

I am not proposing we pick one lucky person and all donate to them to boost that person onto the global leader boards.

I am only wondering of a few of us want to get together and form a mini-team to each accomplish the personal goals QUICKLY. Once everyone in the team accomplishes the goals, at that point, we can disband and make PP to sell for max or whatever we decide.

This may be a premature strategy, since none of us knows right now that the event will be. It may not even be workable. I just throw it out there to start folks thinking.

EDIT -- Upon further consideration and consultation with smarter folks than me (obviously), we have collectively come to a few ground rules about how we hope that this thread will work.

FIRST -- This is not a "Pie/pumpkin begging" thread. It is a pie/pumpkin GIFTING thread.

Givers will come here to post what they are willing to give away AFTER they accomplish their personal goals of 77 pies.

SECOND -- Folks who need help with pumpkins or pies toward their personal goals are encouraged to RESPOND to offers, but should REFRAIN from ASKING for donations. As on Woozle's Gifting thread, asking is considered "bad form." :)

THIRD -- Posts and responses should be made on the public thread, NOT IN PMs. This makes sure everyone can see what is available, who got what, and gives everyone a fair opportunity.

FOURTH -- If you receive help here, please come back and pay pies or pumpkins forward to another player when able.

FIFTH -- If you donate pies, would you please come back and edit your post to show who got the pies and make it clear that the pies are no longer available.

i would be interested in helping out in an event like that. i have nowhere near that number of pies or pumpkins though. too much other stuff in the barn:D:rolleyes:

I'm in. Still thinking that once goal reached, all global contributor will be rewarded. Have to see it happened and help others to reach the global tier.

77 is the total for all five rewards.

One of the rewards is the Pumpkin Pedestal, not two shovels.

I'm in to help out once I get my rewards... But how to we keep this from becoming a pie-begging thread?

The rewards differ this event.

Hmm-- had not thought of that --

My (maybe not so bright idea) was to work together as a group to achieve the personal goals -- but at 77 pies to make in a week to achieve those personal goals, maybe the idea for this thread has been overcome by events? Surely 11 pies a day is doable, where 150 B&E was tough, with all the pig food and bacon required.

Smarter people got brighter ideas to answer CL's GREAT question?
