Defense of Dark Elixir Storage from lightning......

The only way there is to defend your dark elixir storage from getting zapped is to shame the rest of the community to not do it. That is it!

People have been lightning since the start of the game. Before DE it was "don't lightning my gold!" or "don't lightning my elixir!". Oh and by the way "If you do, I will crush you" As if you attacked someone you don't totally try to annihilate them anyway? Do you honestly say "Oh he didn't Lightning me so I am not going take all this person's loot."

I never just lightning someone's DE. I am too selfish for that but not cause its wrong or I should be ashamed if I did it.
I don't do it cause I want to take everything you got not matter it is just 10 gold and 10 elixir. If I choose to attack I want everything and leave you with just piles of smoldering ash!

The only way to stop Lightning of DE, is to put the DE storage outside! Then they will use troops for your DE. :)

Honestly Thats incredibly smart as you could surround it with bombs and traps and pretty much prevent it unless they get desperate and use some Lightning Spells. OR if you really needed to protect it that badly put it on the outside of your base and completely surround it with every tower... Who knows maybe you are trying to get a level 40 Barb king and don't want that much DE taken....

Yep, that's solution!

I think once the spell factor boosting is over, de storage lightening will be significantly less.

Lightning de is only effective at th 7 if you find a th 9, 10 because of the bonus and not having a de drill. So if you aren't in a league with many th 7 you won't get lightning a lot

There were no complaints about lighting res pre DE... As gold and elix are spread among several storages lighting them would be inneffective.

So I am a near maxed town hall 8 in defenses, the only problem is, my Burger king is only level4, so no IronFist ability, and also all dark troops are level one. Why? When I go to sleep at 9:45 to go to school, My hard-earned 15k DE is WASTED! What happens is, I have my town hall completely in a corner, no teslas around it, and people still lightning my DE. When I was a TH7, I was in Gold 1 or 2, and since I have level 4 balloons and level 1 minions, I can't attack balloonion. My drags started upgrading to level 2 at TH8, so they were useless. The only way to get de without being revenged terribly, is doing barch on th8 bases in gold 1. I don't know how they got to gold 1 abandoned, but it's there. I never used lightning because it was not resource efficient. I still used barch at that time though, so I got my Barbrarian king to barely level 2. I rushed mt town hall to level 8 because I was desperate IN NEED for DE, so I got a drill. I upgraded the drill ASAP. It took a week, but I finally got level 5 archers to help out my clan and my attacking. 3 days later, I got level 5 barbarians. Another 3 days later of boring farming, I got pekkas. After that, I upgraded DB and finally got golems. They were terrible. That means 450 more DE till level 3 king. Not to mention the constant barrage of DE hitting my maxed for town hall 8 storage. So, as you would guess, I started Raging. I got a vengeance against them and so started upgrading giants, then wbs, then wizards, all to level 5. After 1 week of farming, I went for a 1/2 hour nap. When I woke up, I was shocked to see that half of my 12500 de was GONE. So I trained up HeAr+GiWiPe(Healer archer giant wizard pekka), 2 rage, 1 heal, and went on an all out attack on each one. Guess what? I got DOUBLE the amount that they stole from me. I finally got to upgrade to level 4 BK for 15k de. I still have a level 4 BK because level 5 is 20,000, so I farmed barch against TH9's with 400k each in gold 1. Since I was rushed TH8, I quickly upgraded teslas to level 6, 3,000,000 gold each. After that, Air defenses to all level 6. Even with all that, I still had level 4 king. That means no Iron fist, and pekkas are stronger. Then I had ALL MAXED DEFENSES EXCEPT WALLS, and I hoarded 18k de, only 2k away from Iron Fist. Then I went to bed and lost 10k from n00bs in th7 raiding me with lightning spells and not getting my TH in the corner. Fast-Forward to today, now I still have barbarian king level 4, drags upgrading to level three, and killing town hall 7s with low elixir that they used for spells, and High de that they collected from me. So I raided them with the same strategy I said earlier. Since my rage and heal were now maxed, it is easily three starring them and also barching for extra de from town hall 8's. So don't tell me LS are the only way to get DE. They get 500 each time every 1 1/2 hours, while barch you get 450+ each time every 15-20 min for 15k elixir at most.
