How To Rework the Report/Ban on Global

I've heard it said that SuperCell will not remove the report button from Global(although that may be the lesser of two evils). When players post here saying "High level players cannot talk in Global Chat" that is absolutely 100% true across the board. As a level 102 in Master League if I talk more than saying "Hello"(and sometimes even then) I receive 7 reports within 30-45 minutes of talking in global chat. I never swear, I'm always polite. The bulk of it is when you tell some 12 year old level 40 he can't join a level 95+ clan he reports you and has all his little friends report you as well. Or sometimes people just play "Report the master/champion rank for fun!". The truth of the matter is that children cannot be trusted with "Moderator-esque" privileges. I've been playing online games since near the beginning of their rise to power and of all the games I've played and all the chats I've been in this may be the worst moderation technique I have seen in any game.

I have 3 options I can think of to combat this issue:

Option 1(alter the mute function):
Change the mute function so it not only hides their chat from me but my chat from them. This will render immature children unable to report high levels for no reason other than "He said no". Instead of saying no we would now be able to remove our presence completely from their field of view as well as removing them from our field of view.

Option 2(change ban length time):
Reduce the ban length to 6 hours. This is long enough that those who deserved to be banned can sulk and huff and puff but for those who didn't deserve a ban they aren't inconvenienced for too much time. If they don't learn their lesson in 6 hours it's likely they wont learn it in 24 hours.

Option 3(Remove the ban[Seriously consider it]):
I know it has been effectively said the SuperCell won't do this but you'll notice just about any other game does not allow players to affect other players for extended periods of time. Other games have issues with racism, hate speech, swearing, and all that manner of stuff and how they deal with it is an "Ignore function" which is effectively the same as the mute function.

Bring back global for High Ranked Players!

I totally agree that the report button has been abused. I am polite and willing to help out entry level players with their base or attacking strategies on global, of course I recruit. I got banned twice, for which I see no reason to deserve that ban. Maybe just because I refused some guy begging to join my clan? I'm not sure if there is any evil recruiting opponents who want you to disappear from the competition... well, complaint enough.

I think the first option is a great idea, as you mute them the can not find where to report you. but isn't this already the way the mute button is working?

and second, shorten the ban is a nice idea, 24 hours is too long for serious players to remorse and repentant.

Third option is the similar one to mute button as it is now working in the system. If you don't like the words, just filter the person out!!

Lastly, the report button is only effective and righteous when there is a real moderator in the chat! considering recruiting some volunteers?

That's how I originally thought the mute button worked but I so often see people who say they are muting me but then I can see their chat still, and even with that regular nice players still get banned left and right.

Ah, I just did a test. The fact is even if you have mutes someone, if he does not mute you, he can still see your chat.

I would support any of these changes. Honestly, option 3 seems like it would really be the best. We have a mute button, so if you don't like the way someone is acting, you don't have to put up with. I don't see why we should still be able to ban players, just seems redundant, and the banning system unfairly punishes sooo many players.

There are so many great people to talk to if you find the right global but halfway through your conversation you get banned for no reason.

One of my favorite conversations was where I helped a guy pick out parts to build his first computer and I got banned 3/4 of the way through....maybe they didn't like the phrase "RAM module"?

Option 3 gets my vote as well.

or they could awesomely make a forum global and you have to have lets say 300+ posts and you can link your game to forum account using username&password. I was thinking that your link to forum account would have to be approved but I figure that's too much work.

Option 3 is the best because people(a.k.a. Trolls) will report you for no reason. Supercell really needs to reconsider the report button because many people are getting tired of being reported for no reason. Even though they say its ruled out they should at least reconsider to change something about it to prevent people from being banned.
