I just got my first Carp, bronze, area 3, green lure.

I also finished the lake sturgeons, getting silver, area 6, blue lure. I don't remember any details on the other 2.

I got 1 Zander, bronze, area 1, gold lure.

Still no signs of the Barb, so I'm off to hunt him/her down.

Well congrats on breaking the record! Oh, how I would trade the so many silvers I have gotten for a gold carp!:o

Oh btw, I forgot to mention that I managed to get all 12 heavy weight fishes yesterday :(. I do remember catching my Gold Carp at Area 3 with a Green Lure and a Gold Giant Barb at Area 1 with a Purple Lure. I can't remember where I got my Gold Zander but I caught 2 Gold Lake Sturgeons at Areas 7 and 8 with Purple Lures.

Wondering if I should continue catching those heavy weight fishes to help out the community even though I've already gotten the Big Game Fisher III achievement! Or should I focus on getting my last 5 regular (all Gold Catch) fishes? :P

Oh this is too cruel! Used my last purple chasing Giant Barb in the waterfall area. I DID catch her but 'twas an utterly ridiculous weight.

If it were me, I would focus on my gold weight fishies:)

gold Carp, area 8, green lure.

for everyone who is having trouble catching special event fishes, my advice is to go for small circle. circle size for special fish is closer to small then to medium one. as a matter of fact, I'm not even sure if it's any bigger than regular small circle.

I think sc forgot to but the gold fish in my lake. Maybe I should use someone else's lake. Lol

Alright! Thanks Saudi! I shall focus on my gold weight fishes then! I just lured in a silver catch Brook Trout again ugh! I've been trying to catch a gold catch Brook Trout for months lol (not exaggerating, I've caught over 50 bronze/silver Brook Trouts, hence my familiarity and experience with them). It just seems like I have to catch the gold Yellow Perch and Northern Pike or something before the gold Brook Trout will swim into my fishing area lol!
