The effects of troop AI changes

Today I’m so close to give up on this game completely because of the AI. At least you could still play Multiplayer while hoping for the war MM to get better, but now with the changes to AI, I can’t even do that. This game used to be so much fun in every way compared to other strategy games because you could control the troops and work on getting your skills up. Now it seems that all you can do is spam them from a certain point and hope for the best. Why SC, why? The troops are not making more intelligent choices - they are more stupid than ever before

It seems like WBs don't go inside layers anymore, and valks do what they want outside the base

I'll tell you why. 3 star strategy is discovered, every youtuber on the planet makes a video on it. 3 stars overrun the game, the qq nerf squad comes out in masses crying like babies.

Supercell's answer is to make it so troops are too unpredictable to reliably 3 star, even with a good strategy in place.

Or they could add some end game content so that people can do something besides relearn how to attack over and over...

But their bank accounts are full, so do you really think they care to fix this "problem"?

EDIT: yes, I am quite bitter at what this game has become. It was also one of my favorite strategy games. Not even close to it anymore.

Way I see it, we would all shut up if given any of these very short responses:

1: 'New AI is here to stay, as is mostly working as intended. Don't see any more ''wall-breaker Queen'' posts anymore do you?'

Which might seem a pain, but at least we as players would know what action to take, as in to learn the new AI as quickly as possible.

2: 'The new AI changes aren't quite working as planned, we are working on adjustments'.

My least favourite, but again, upside is don't go breaking your neck trying to get to grips with new behaviour, will be all change again soon.

3: 'On balance, it seems the AI changes can't be unequivocally deemed an improvement, so will be reverted in client update scheduled soon xx/xx/xxxx'.

Again, which would tell us where we stand.
Agree with Clark above. These are the threads that REALLY need the official response, and don't get them.
Like the A-B-A loon pathing AI changes we had without a word.
Not conducive to a strategy game.

Poor guy, he has a worse job than white house press secretary. His choices are /ignore or lie. Not a good position to be in :(
