Would make a lot of sense but it looks like she is shooting at the gold mine, not the elixer collector. The closest to the AQ in travel distance would have been the elixer collector - not the gold mine. I think she is personally crazy - and spends her off time at the loony bin and SC just doesn't want to tell us that to save her from supreme embarrassment. I guess you could say she is kind of the like the "eccentric" older relative who everyone talks about behind his/her back after the Christmas party.

Can we close this thread already? Clearly supercell isn't going to respond... even after hundreds of replies. I've already gotten used to the new AI, so I don't really give a ___. But I think it's poor form to not even respond to this thread, Darian.

I don’t know that’s fair to dredge up from that time rather long ago immediately after the update went live. Things I’ve posted since show I now agree there was change and that it seems to have been described inadequately in the release notes. I was actually quoting Darian without directly quoting his post, he’d specifically said no changes not described in the notes. I believe it’s nothing to do with blindness or lying, it is rather that his exact wording was “improvements on troop attack position selection” which I - along with many - took at the time to be nothing to do with targeting, but that he maybe thought covered that, and seems to have been that.

I’ve been a firm believer that there was a change ever since Warios put up those very convincing pics of his experiments. And I think any of us on the forum have seen about 50 tin foil hat “has AI on specific troop X changed?” for every 1 post that does credibly show something odd has gone on, so the default probably ought be skepticism for anything that doesn’t specifically describe or illustrate an oddness (which I did ask the OP for, long before this became a merged mega thread incorporating the later lot of threads on the topic - OP hasn’t been back to the thread since to reply/explain what he/she saw).

No, for some reason issues like this are rarely addressed. It's also the only type of thread that needs a response. Perhaps all threads that are about big issues should be titled (look, cute cat pics) mabey then we can encourage SC to engage.

We can also "stalk". Any thread he posts in, try to draw his attention here. No posts in three days though, he's a lot less active here than a lot of us unpaid players.

And I very much agree, as a new, serious issue this needs a comment more than the neverending matchmaking discussion. Even a vague "we're looking into it, no eta on a response" would help a bit.

Revert the changes on the home village. Remove the changes from the base AI class, make the builder base troop AI class inherit the home base one if you must, but if you need to make changes, for the love of god, override them in the derived class from now on... save us from this torture!
