Well, with these changes people will start putting a lot of defenses on the outside and make funneling a hell. I thought the matchmaking was making war a living hell and now the troops walking off....? I used to play all the time and now I begin to lose interest completely. I’ve played since 2014 and it’s never been this bad.

Last war an attack was ruined by wbs, released from the same spot, running three different places. Current war I tested an aqwalk with a scout, she goes the way I planned. For the real attack, aq dropped on the same tile, she goes the other way.
Horrible AI "improvement".
ETA just saw an aq walk back through a jump, outside the base, maybe 30 tiles around to hit a collecter instead of hitting a building that was already in range. Revert this.
Has anyone noticed any negative differences with bowlers since the update? Something is off but I have no idea what it is. It seems like I can’t park them any more.
I’ve also noticed a difference in our 11v11 attacks. Our best attackers our dropping 0 and 1 stars all over the place. I have never seen a 0 star attack in 11v11 in one of our wars in the year that I’ve been in the clan and rarely see a 1 Star,and we have had like 4 or 5 fails and probably 10 stars. Just curious if anyone else has been havin problems.
not seen any problem with bowlers...and 11v11 wise I wouldn't know but we doin fine 10v11 as usual, and it's always been possible to mess up doubling a base...Quote:

This last update pretty much ended things for us. It was a fun run, but re-learning how to use our troops all over again just doesn't sound like something most have the energy for. Learning your troops once is fun, re-learning, with no purpose or benefit coming from it, well that is just not something people in my clan want to do.
Maybe if there were some real content updates and not this lame lame lame builder base, then maybe there would be more incentive to keep going, but it looks like this last update was the one that actually ended the game for us.
Too bad, because from 2013 to 2015 we always looked forward to the updates. Most of 2016 and all of 2017 we dreaded any update that came and the updates were very over-sold and under-delivered.
Yes, I am sure all the fan-boys will disagree, they always do, for them supercell can do no wrong. But our real-world experience of this past couple years has been pretty poor in comparison to the previous years.

Find it funny that you automatically label people that may disagree as “fan boys.” Tells me about all I need to know, really. Also quite telling that players who have likely played for years would up and quit because attacking is “perceived” to be more difficult. But, to each their own. I haven’t noticed any difference, especially with bowlers. If I fail an attack, it’s because I messed up. Plain and simple.Quote:

You like it great. Doesn't mean everyone does. Not to mention, maybe you are a spam attacker or someone who has been getting lucky with attacks lately. That is totally possible. Just because your attacks do not appear to be suffering, does not discount the issue. There are thousands of posts of people complaining about the AI. They must all just be horrible players who are too lazy and stupid to relearn how to attack, right?
Just finished a war, and havent noticed anything obviously different. TH11,10 and TH9 attacks.
Our fail rate was about same as always, we still managed to get all the usual three stars.
There were no "Omg what is happening" moments even in the few 97% sort of tries.
