Maintenance-diamonds

Hey, just a quick question...

After todays maintenance, has anyone gotten the usual maintenance-diamonds? Because I haven't and I just wanted to make sure that it's not just me, but that no one has gotten any... :D Because otherwise something fishy is going on on my parts.

Were you guys actully playing when HD went into maintainance? If not, that might explain why you guys didn't get any. From what I understand, everyone get's diamonds after an update while for short maintainance, only the people that were playing at the time and got thrown out got diamonds, kind of like "sorry for the inconvenience".

I had a time where I couldn't log on and I thought it could be my connection. I'm in and out of the game all the time so I don't know. Good point.

Ooh, I see. That was just a guess. I just started picking up HD again after a few months so not sure how it really works with those diamonds. Either way, I think it's a nice touch, we never got any diamonds after maintainence or updates back when I was playing.

every other time I've received diamonds, it was when I logged IN in the morning. Since SC is based in Finland (I think) they would go into maintanance mode when we in North America are asleep (unless up in the wee hours huddled behind our pillow so as not to wake up the husband with the light of our iphone whilst playing hayday hahahahaha )

I wasn't actively playing the game this time, but I've recieved maintenace-diamonds before even though I was't active in the game up to the break.
I thought everybody got the diamonds as it's the first time I haven't gotten any, but with what everyone in this thread is saying, it seems pretty random who gets and who doesn't... :confused:

There were two short maintenances yesterday within half an hour. After the first, Alfred delivered the diamond parcel, after the second there was nothing. Maybe you guys who were only playing during the second didnt receive anything?

There was a fairly long time yesterday when I couldn't connect to the game, followed by an "updating..." message when I finally could sign in. I did not get any "maintenance diamonds".

Glad to see I'm not the only one who does that......it's a little harder hiding the light from an iPad though;)

Have you received any diamonds after the last two maintenance break?

Apparently there was one today (11/26/2013) but I did not get any diamonds from Alfred and was wondering if SC stopped this practice.

If you don't receive diamonds after a maintainence break, reboot the app. This always help me. I missed out a few times and ever since I started rebooting the game, Alfred has come to give me the package. Good luck! :)

I used to get diamonds all the time for maintenance. Now I never get them, been like this for about 2 months or so.

I also used to get the movie ticket for diamonds they both went away around the same time.
