Is there a reason that my keyboard now has to take up 80% of my phone screen? Not only is it massively intrusive, but with the larger keyboard, the letters are now in slightly different spots, making typing harder

Supercell broke our clan's recruiting day.
We war 3 times a week then "rest" for 24 hours to open the clan for recruiting.
In the past, we would open to "Anyone can join" and our clan would fill up quickly. I kick the people who don't meet the criteria and once it drops below 45 members again, it quickly fills up with new people.
I've currently had my clan open to "Anyone can join" for the last couple hours and NOBODY HAS JOINED. Apparently we're not appearing as a "Suggested Clan" to anyone?
