Wish they would fix!

The truth is most people protect their DE storage very well - especially high end trophy clashers

Meaning very unlikely you will get gold/elixir and DE all in the same raid , so most choose they either go for Gold/Elixir and lightening DE as they can't attack that part of the base

or

They purely are pushing for DE and focus on DE storage part of the base and leave gold/elixir alone.

The importance of DE is obv very clear in the game so the horrible truth is that you will always find lightening spells on the DE .

However SC has tweeked it already to slow down the amount of attacks by lightening so you never know it may be reviewed again soon.

Otherwise you got to keep raiding even harder to accomodate the loss !!!

I think most of us agree that zapping DE does not add anything to gameplay ... Its less painful now with the boosted DE storage hitpoints. The only thing that makes this profitable is the loot bonus of a TH7 zapping a TH9 or TH10. With TH7s in crytal 2, there is nowhere to hide ... chivalry is dead, they said, when crossbows were invented. I say, in the CoC universe, chivelry died when the first lightning hit a DE storage. :)

If you are farming low level ths in low trophy range, you ABSOLUTELY DESERVE to get your DE storage zapped.

Upgrading dark tank: more hitpoints: less de taken per lightning: happier clasher

You may have come to the forums and learned a few things, but you are still missing a lot of information about how this game works. You talk about how people two or three town halls higher can raid you and take all your loot, but the fact is there are penalties in place that make that impossible. Someone two town halls higher will only get half as much as someone the same level, three levels higher only gets a tenth. If much tougher people are constantly taking your loot then the problem is with you, not them, as you must have upgraded your town hall before building the defences to go with it.

Solution to fix your problem
1) Max DE Storage
2) Raise up in cups to your respected th level
3) problem fixed!

It is a cheap shot, and it is absolutely ridiculous that th7's have a weapon against th10's.

i do enjoy zapping people who booby trap their town hall though, along with knocking out their heroes and emptying their CC.

FWIIW, it happens at pretty high trophy levels, from frustrated attackers who are losing, people farming their way down and the low level th snipers.

I am learning as I go, and I've learned a lot from the forums. But by the time my th7 finished, the only things not maxed were my collectors & mines. But even at th5 I'd get raided once in a while by th7, and it was worse when I was th6. I couldn't believe it when I saw a bunch of Mr. T's riding on pigs & wiping out my base in no time flat! That's when I found the wiki for CoC, to see what they were.

Works for me

If you're getting zapped by lightning on your DE storage your trophies are too low. This also means you more than likely pick on smaller, weaker players for loot. But you're complaining when these players zap your DE because that's all they can get from your base? Pathetic.
