Nearly maxed TH7 lvl 57 clan is on a trophy push...troops?

My clan is on a trophy push right now, 4 more days. I went from 1180 trophies to 1550 in 24 hrs. Unfortunately I'm stuck now. Yes I am sniping currently. But I stop at one that I normally could beat, and get my rear handed to me. All my troops are maxed spells too except rage, it's level 3. Could you guys help me with a troop composition for when I do stop at a base I can take. Also could you include the strategy of the attack. THANKS IN ADVANCE

You really need to have you're Town Hall protected chap...I've just checked and you're village and its sat on the outside...this will help some at the lower trophy count.

As for Troop composition....unfortunately much is about you're own play style and what works for you.

IMHO be very selective on the bases you attack....be as SURE as you can be that you will win prior to engaging....losing an attack will really hold you up on progress.

And as you have said...keep sniping....if you are patient you can probably snipe up to 1900+

I'm almost in the same position, and I've found the following composition helpful: 8 WB, 5 Barbs, 64 Archers, 36 Goblins, 13 Giants, 1 Healer. It's a quick army to produce (about 25 minutes), and it's cheap. I also use 2 lightnings and 1 heal spell (lv4). I found the rage was seldom worth it for me, but it is fun from time to time.

I don't 3 star often, but if I pick wisely I generally always get 1 star and 2 if the TH is exposed. Again, you also have to pick an army that suits your attack style.

I'm currently at 1784 trophies.

I generally look for bases with a lot of outlying buildings and start there. I drop barbs on buildings in corners and buildings that aren't defended. If there is a barb king, I lure them out and sick 20-25 archers on them out of the range of defenses.

If there is a mortar in the area of those archers, I take it out with the two lightning spells, and drop giants/wbs. I try to drop them where buildings are next to the walls so that they aren't taken out by spring traps, etc. Once those have gotten through the walls, I drop a heal spell and send in gobs and more wbs (once the defenses are definitely occupied). I also use gobs on any resource collectors outside the base while defenses are pointed inwards at the giants.

That strategy usually always gets 50%, and occasionally more. O and don't forget clan castle troops to help as needed. I almost never use my BK as I don't want to be that vulnerable after an attack. I have once or twice when I need 2-3% more to get 50% or something like that.

I'm actually in the same position. I'm a near-maxed Town Hall 7, and I'm on my own sort of trophy push (I'm trying to make it to Crystal as a Town Hall 7 for bragging rights, and it'd be nice to be #1 in my clan for a while).

My favorite set up:

x2-4 Dragons
x60-100 Archers
x3 Giants
x35 Goblins
x3-5 Wall Breakers

You can change this for your own personal set up. I have 2 level 9 barracks so this set up trains fairly fast. The best thing you can do is choose the right base. Make sure it has about 65,000 elixir to offset the cost of the army, and don't use what you don't need to take the base down.

Pick bases that have Air Defense semi-exposed. Use the Giants for distractions, then send in the Archers you have behind them to take down as many defense as possible. Use Goblins to take out elixir pumps and mines that are in the way. Once you have air defense out of the way (at least one of them) send in a dragon to take down more buildings. Use the rest of your troops to take down more Archer Towers, and Air Defenses if possible. Those are the two main threats to your dragons. Wizard Towers barely pose threats. Teslas may pose a threat if your dragon is in range of one for too long. As always, Wall Breakers are there for getting into key areas and 5 should be enough if they're upgraded to level 3 or 4. You should be able to go to at least Crystal League with it. :)

I used barbarians and archers to surround the base and get an easy 50% all the way until 1950 trophies, then I used 8 dragons and 40 archers to get the rest of the way.

Thank you all for your suggestions... Going to start trying them all and see what works best. The first post is what I used all day, I got +72 trophies. Only 35 to gold 2!!! :D:D:D:D :)

Read the guide in my siggy. It has info about getting to Crystal III at TH7. Have not updated the guide to include hogs yet, but they are a good option.
