It all depends on your attacking style, and if your base can with hold a mass hog attack. If your base only gets 1 starred or wins the defence that you probably could do it easier. I have never tried for master league but on the first of november I'm trying for master league/crystal1 my clan memebers say it's all about the attacking side of the game to advance in trophies.
Well, those aren't the stronger of level troops out there, but its not impossible. Put up a picture of your base, because you might need to do defences for trophies.Quote:

You can do it with any troops. It's all about deployment and smarts. You will get destroyed on D so be prepared for lengthy attacks and small wins before hiding behind a shield for your next lengthy round of attacks.
It depends on your TH level. I am TH 9 and I am now pushing to master league. Honestly I would attack any TH 8 at this point. Because Infernos and xbows are just devastating.
I got to masters by using archers and barbs. I used 60 barbs and 140 archers each army. Also, I made sure I had a hero and my cc each attack. I mainly attacked th 9s and got 50% on them.
