What is the next Global Event Product & why?

I think it will either be the blue sweater or red berry cake.
Due to them both taking some time to produce, and being frequently available in the paper.

What do you guys think?

I hope it's neither. I hope that if they continue to design these "global" events, they introduce a greater variety of products into it. They should, at least, ask for a different product for each tier.

Haystacker pointed out on another thread that creating unnecessary shortages of products and raw materials, while simultaneously introducing surpluses of other items, is all that an event like the last one accomplished. And I completely agree with him (or her. Sorry, not sure). Furthermore, producing one item over and over again is very tedious and makes for VERY dull and uninteresting game play.

Quite frankly, all that the last event did was frustrate and annoy me. I did not feel rewarded, even though I finished three tiers of it. I only received 1 TNT barrel and 1 gold voucher, while others apparently received double. Then I received two purple vouchers. I could have done better in the boating event. At least the opportunity for more vouchers is there. Yes, I understand the scarcity and sanctity of the golden voucher. However, I'd much rather be stimulated and challenged in a more interesting way than be guaranteed a gold voucher. I'd rather have another boating event or a trucking event than another global event. Those were a lot of fun.

I agree, and SC set an obviously ridiculously high target as the total fell well short. Got to admit it seems to have created more problems for players than enjoyment, though I have not seen all posts I have not seen anything to commend it yet.

Considering this was their FIRST global event, I'm willing to give them a pass. It's a learning experience. The idea is good but probably needs fine tuning. I liked it, required some planning by me to have the reaw materials, when to be available to collect and post. The rewards to me are better than the uh...drivel I keep getting from the 35gift card package(instead of oh...the tractor, wind mill or the I forgot-the-name bike).

Concur with SueDL. I do also hope that each stage has a different product. The previous event was fun for me but I do see the merit of mixing up the products. After all it is a 5 days event and I can see how the shortage of B&E, egg, and bacon ( and the abundance of strawberries) could have frustrated some people.

I'm with you ... I'm hoping that the truck event is next. I like the boat event too. This was my first Global Event. I'm wondering how the top producers made thousands and thousands of B&E. I did contribute 142 and went back to my regular Hay Day life.

I think either carrot pie, cornbread or maybe blue hats? There's always a ton of wool in the shops...

I don't think it will just be a single item, like strawberries.

but I also don't think the very next event will be another Global event. That's just a new kind of event to mix into the rotation.

I did the best I could to contribute as many B&E as possible, but since I didn't have many when the event started, I wasn't able to reach the 142 mark, but I did contribute a bit over 100. Like Sunnyshine, I would really like to know how the top contributors were able to contribute so many!

I like the idea SueDL mentioned...have each tier be a different item. It would be a bit more challenging, and fun, to change up what we need to make and contribute.

From some of the things I read about this event, I was under the impression, or maybe just strongly hoped, that if you passed the global mark for contributions, you would be rewarded with 5 diamonds. Sadly, that didn't happen. I received 1 TNT, 1 gold voucher, then 1 purple voucher for each of the next two levels. I'm happy getting those, but I was really hoping for the diamonds, too.

With this event i thought it would have been a different item required per tier. It wasn't until i came here and saw that each level required more b&e that i knew that. That was when i quit even trying.

These events are fun but as has been said what is the point of displacing one worthless product for another? And why is everyone producing so much b&e for sale in the first place?

Ok, just want to circle this back to the topic if possible, I know we all have different opinions on whether we liked the event or not but I thought it would be fun to get some feedback on the potential next product and thoughts behind your choice.

Lol don't know if anyone else thinks this, but "shirt" maintenance might be more then just an innocent typo. What if it was a hint? Maybe the next global event is sweaters/blue sweaters, as they're the closest product to shirts...

I was wondering the same thing myself. I was ready last night and nothing happened.

The first time I was introduced to an event it started on Friday evening. That is the way it stayed for a while. Then one day it started on Thursday evening and stayed that way until now. I hope my anticipation won't land with a big thud! Meaning the newspaper event. I have so many friends that I rarely advertise in the DD. But, it is a good event for low levels and those without many friends.

Yes, a personal event is always helpful, the truck event is my favourite :cool:

Nevertheless, I thought the b&e idea was very good, only the goals were far too high and the dynamite at the end was a joke, didnt like the tnt either.

In general, events should be including as many players as possible, so no products which are available for later levels only.

Hoping for a trucking event this time since we've had the boating and little people events and haven't come quite full circle. The global event interrupted it. Hope if there IS another global event (and it sounds like there will be), they will change the items for different global regions. Even if they change items per tier, you still have a big run on the chosen item and different parts of the world can scoop them all up first as happened with the b&e. They were all gone when I started at 5:15 AM, and not another one to be had for nearly 5 days except the random one or two here and there. So if they change up the items for different regions, I'd play. Otherwise, I'll unload my entire barn full of fun, interesting stuff both in the RSS and helping other boats (which I do anyway).

But still REALLY hoping for a trucking event. Or any of the others, for that matter. Much more challenging than making hundreds of the same item.

Lol someone said they can't give away cornbread, try wheat! I liked the global event it was fun and different and joined us all to try to win something. The amount was a bit high and I'm very curious how it is that some people attributed thousands of BnE! Sketchy. It doesn't make sense to change the shortage during the shortage---it's called a shortage for a reason people, look it up. If there's a shortage of federal aid in our governments, do they say " I think they're tired of no healthcare, let's give them no military?" Noooo, so just relax a bit. Furthermore, overproduction of anything will create a surplus of others. You guys are complaining about the DD having too much strawberries during the global event but, I loved opening the DD and not seeing eggs on EVERY slot.

I completely agree shine. I'm hoping today/tonight is the day. And I absolutely hate newspaper events, they are definitely meant for low levels.

They didn't clarify. We aren't sure what to expect yet, it seems subject to interpretation.

The pumpkin pie exodus has started. I have just seeded tons of pumpkins. Queued every slots and got abt 30 in barn. Good to hit global hopefully. If the rewards suck, thats all i will do up to and just going to help my neighbours by supplying eggs, pumpkin and the pies. If the rewards continues to suck.

Achieved 3rd stage. So far, axe, grave stone, and pumpkin stand.

Edit: I think it was 5 axes. Not sure of the exact number I had in the barn, it was in the 30s (I think it was 36) and now it is at 41.

In an attempt to clear out my barn i sold out all but one of my pumpkin pies. Lol. I noticed they kept flying out of my stall...which was highly unusual.

Then i came here and now I know what that was all about. Lol. Oh well...there you go.

Find it kind on ironic how I've been making carrot and pumkpin pies non-stop for a few days but then I woke up this morning and thought to myself "I'm feeling some for some bacon today", so I loaded both my farms with casserole, shepards pie and bacon pie. Awesome. At least I had 3 stale pumkpin pies laying around LOL!

I completed the 77 pies an hour ago. I love the rewards we got. Jack o lantern, pumpkin on a pedestal, tombstone and the favorite was the last one. SPOOKY TREE! An honorable mention goes to the saws I also got. LOL

The XP for 1 pumpkin pie is 39. The rewards seem a bit different for everyone. More or less same category axes/saws and halloween decorations. I still need to hit the last stage, let's see if I get the halloween tree.

Sorry but u wont get any trees with pumpkins in, only if u have original trees from the start of the game they have pumkins in. I wouldnt have got rid of my trees if id known. Im looking for new friends can i add anyone ? Happy farming.Hope u get the halloween tree Dr.doolitle.

I have reached stage 3 of the event so far ive recieved 1 axe, 1 pedestal,1 saw where are all these halloween decorations every one seem to get? Im full to the brim of axes and saws boring... Happy farming!
