Bot buyer problem

Just recently returned to the forums and have taken the time to read this entire thread, here are a few of my observations in dealing with P bot. I caught the P bot disease whereas my wife who I trade with daily hasn't. P bot would buy my bem's 15 seconds after listing with no ads placed and bought any bem's no matter the quantity. For some reason the P bot infection only lasted a couple of days but during this time hay day crashed continously while browsing the DD. I've never traded materials here on the forums and belong to a neighborhood of three which consists of myself, my wife and my daughter. In any event I think I'm cured as P bot seems to have disappeared.

The bot disappears for a couple of days after each maintenance break. We had one on Wednesday, so be wary just in case.

I was afraid it may be something like that but hoping SC did something a little more permanent.

Me too. But sadly if you see Nicks most recent post on this thread it seems like they have no idea how to stop it. :(

Cheaters and hackers are always going to be an issue. It is an ongoing war and they are battling it.

I posted 20 planks was bought successfully and the next 20 was wiped out by that “P” bot at default price. I worked so hard to get them.

Supercell please please HELP!!!

P bot bought my 20 planks under 3 secs. Pure pain to see a non-human grab it crying out loud. Supercell so many updates why cannot cure

I don't usually buy any barn/silo expansion items, as I don't need them. But, I just bought 4 tape from DD to give to friends and for the first time the p bot got me!
AND, just prior to posting this, I saw a brief thread with p bots name on it which quickly dissapeared! Is it the forum creating this access??? Although I "get" the whole "name & shame" rule, shouldn't we be able to warn everyone about who/what is causing all this chaos? Maybe its not a bot at all, and just some tech guru who has outsmarted the system!

No Tahoe, that is not allowed. The bot is really smart, able to log in to the forum, and as a result, feels shamed.
Plus, we don't want to warn anyone what the bot's farm name is, it may help get rid of it. :smirk::confused:

Hopefully we have all warned our hood mates of this bot, and have advised them not to buy EMs from the DD. This is where being good neighbors is important, and willing to share a few of your expansion materials.
Seems for me, the more I share, the more I get back. 😊
