I totally get where you are coming from. I have experienced the same problem when selecting a farm with a particular sale. I either put it down that SC cannot come up with a permanent solution to this or they can be bothered seeing it as a long term issue.Quote:

It hasn't been fixed that long. It just took more work for short period to see Farm ID in Facebook logs. The reason I know is someone who had liked my farm and I then deleted used the method for months to return and clean everything out until very recently.Quote:

There was a maintenance break last night. This usually stops the bot for a day or so. The last half dozen maintenance breaks have validated this.Quote:

Yes it does, originally we used to be able to go to a farm that bought from our shop. Supercell removed that feature but somehow the bots are able to still have that feature. These buy bots haunt the farms that give them the most rewards.Quote:

Don't leave BEMs or SEMs up longer than 10 seconds, if you let them sit longer than 10 seconds bot will snipe every tray you post for awhile. Best to stop for 2 hour or longer and do quick sales with a fast buyer. Have buyer refresh shop (reload your farm shop to clear up lag by either going to another shop or clicking on your name in friends bar) if they do not see items. Buyer beware, shopping RSS of bot farms is dangerous. Buying the forbidden fruits of BEMs or SEMs from them are honey traps to get your farm ID to target later.
Beware of leaving items in shop after completing a global event task as you are seen on recent contributor on event tab. You ca be bookmarked from there.
The above is not 100% foolproof but it has worked for me, that P Bot only got me one time since it came out. I make my farm a small target by being smart on how I do things and carelessly making myself a target.

I wonder if those players who leave lots of bems and sems etc in their RSS to attract customers are being targeted and if they were to read your post, collect their coins and leave their RSS free! I really dislike those people as I feel it is form of entrapment, to get you to follow or friend them under false pretences as I have found in doing just that when I first started playing only to realise that they didn't sell on a daily basis the items that were displayed as sold, so when I woke up to it, I did a click and delete through my friends list XD

Recently, I have come across a new kind of bot farm in the newspaper that sells 1 coin wheat and often one box of 1 coin bread. It is a level 43 farm but has no animals and only a bakery. It has a number/code for a name with dashes. I believe it has some connection to the p-bot in getting farm IDs when you buy the wheat.
I had a terrible bot problem for the past month but this last week I have been bot-free (though nervously only selling in tiny amounts as I expect it back at any point) and I have made it a point to never buy wheat from the paper anymore unless I’m buying full 36 wheat from a recognizably named farm with pets, buildings, etc.
