Let's be honest: Troop and Spell Upgrades take way too long! I am about to finish maxing my TH8, and I still have over 87 days of troop upgrades left! (I have Dragon 3, Pekka 2, Pekka 3, Hog Rider 2, Hog Rider 3, Hog Rider 4, Valkyrie 2, Golem 2, and Rage Spell 5 all left).
So what do we need? A Dark Laboratory where we can upgrade our Dark Troops in separation from the Standard Troops in the Laboratory.
Thoughts?
Haven't seen any thread like this before. Interesting. I guess it would be an ok/good Idea to add this, I mean it wouldn't hurt too much would it? But it wouldn't really affect me so I wouldn't really care
I like this idea, because it does take way too long
Prior to Dark Elixir, it seemed like Troop Upgrades and Structure Upgrades were closely related in maxing time (for 5 builder huts at least). Now that there are Dark Troops, a Dark Laboratory is needed to balance out the two times again.

The key is to upgrade elixir troops as soon as possible. This is done by not upgrading your town hall right away and waiting until you have maxed out all your defenses and buildings. If you're going to rush your town hall then there's inevitably going to be more troops to train since you have to play catch up. I guarantee that if people would max out their base while simultaneously upgrading troops then they would find themselves with all their laboratory troops and potions finished. I'm already at the point where I only have 1 elixir upgrade left (upgraded all troops AND potions) in my laboratory and just have my dark elixir troops left aside from minions.
This idea wouldn't do me much good except having another building in my base. Players just need to prioritize what troop they want to upgrade leaving the troops they use least on the bottom of the list. If players would play the game in that manner, by leaving troops and potions used least often on the back burner, then there wouldn't be a need for a Dark Laboratory.

And what of the people with maxed out troops? They would have to build this and level it just incase another level troop came out, till then it'd be a waste of a 4x4 block. I.m.o, this should have been done upon the darkbarracks release, it was a good idea but to implement it now would be both a waste of development time, a waste of high lvl players space (which i hear is already limited).
either way you are waiting the same exact time. This would not help people who dont have the resources for it, if you were to do this you would need to increase production or take away loot penalties. i like it the way it is with the normal lab.
I'm not huge on this idea, but this argument really isn't very good. Most folks can make enough resources to keep both labs busy, especially since the normal lab is elixir based which everyone has a ton of.Quote:
