Troop Donation Rewards

Hey Clashers!

Another idea! :D

Just wondering what you all think if not only would you get Experience Points when you donate troops in a clan, but also a bit of gold and elixir along with the Experience Points? It doesn't have to be a "Ton of Gold and Elixir" but just another reward or so. I, myself, like to donate but hardly ever have enough elixir or gold, even with 1v1 and war battles, it always seems to run out on troop-making or upgrading stuff.

Just an idea, always welcoming positive and negative comments, haven't thought out the whole effect/idea it may have on others, I just wanted to see what everyone thought about the idea.

At level 6 clan level one of the perks is that you get 35% resources back when donating. So in a way your suggestion have already been implemented.

My level 11 clan gets a 50% bonus on donated troops.

Thank you for the reply, however what I was trying to "Implement" is all players in the game can have a reward from donating troops, not a 35% refund. I kind of wanted to implement with each donation it would come up with, for example, 5xp, 100 gold, 100 elixir..not very accurate, I know...just an example. However, I know I didn't state what I was meaning properly so I hope you will forgive me for that.

Thank you for your reply, like I said to Gorbash, I am incredibly sorry that it wasn't accurate as what I was stating. I wanted all clan levels no matter what to get a reward for troop donation, as mentioned above with my reply to Gorbash.

That would negate the clan perk that the clan worked hard to attain, wouldn't it? At the current state (level 6 clan) if you donate a level 3 dragon costing 33000 elixir you will get back 11,500 elixir. That is a substantial amount of reward, isn't it?

That is a very "Substantial" amount of elixir to get back, indeed. However, what if we took that clan perk out, replaced it with something else, while also adding in the idea for all clans to have a donation reward based on the donated troops they sent? Just a question, that's all! :)

What would that something else be and would that something else be a perk that everyone would agree to have as a replacement? Would that something else be forced upon those who do not agree to the replacement?

I was going to say to introduce a "Special Troop" Dedicated to "High" level clans, however, I'm not so sure this idea would work or not, if you think it is a good idea, I will state the rest of the idea, if not I won't.

Maybe even introduce a new "Clan" title, for example: Guardian, Warleader, etc...This may be a very bad idea, but if you are interested in this one I could express more of this idea towards you, if not I won't.

At the moment, I am thinking of other "Clan Perks" that could replace that one, however I need support in doing that, if there isn't much point, then I won't

The difficulty here is that you have to find a replacement that will be acceptable to everyone and not just the majority of players. Therefore it is not just up to me to decide what would be a good replacement because my preferences will not be the same as everyone else.

But it could be close to everyone possibly? and then you could alter the idea a tiny bit to suit everyone? Good idea?

If you can find that something then more power to you. I have to admit that I am a bit more cynical when it comes to getting everyone to agree on changing what they have previously considered as a fair deal.

I'm sure you already get a reward for donations that is far more valuable than extra loot or even gems. You get to be known as someone who donates for the better of the clan. And in turn you get a better clan. Just yesterday , in my clan, we had to boot three fairly newer members. There donations were not anything close to their received troops. They had been warned twice. This tells us, the leadership of the clan, that even though this member is playing a lot he is not donating while he is on. Troops take such a short time to cook that there is really no excuse. Good, active players donate. The ultimate reward for donations is a strong, active clan. I know many clashers would trade ten million gold just to be in an active, supportive clan. But all that aside, what about the abuse a donation reward might bring? In many clans this may mean players donating random troops just to get their donation reward. Would there be a cap on this or could I just donate all day and stack loot? If there is a cap will this really encourage donations or be ignored by everyone except those who already donate thousands of troops per season? Just a few things to think about.

Well, there may be an idea for Donation Abusers... A cap saying "Maximum amount of gold and elixir reached from donations" however exp would still continue to rise of course. Yes, we all love members for donating and making the clan strong, but even they need a reward for donating heaps when others don't right?

Don't we get xp already for donating troops????

Yes, we do. But why not add a little something extra in there? It sure would make a lot more people donate more! :)

You want them to add something thats already in game. As a matter of fact the numbers you purposed are worse then what is currently available. I'm sure most people would rather have the 50% de back from a dark troop donation then some small amount of elixir and gold

I did say that the perk could be taken away and placed with something "better" however nobody seems to want to listen to a full explanation of other perk ideas for a level 6 and up clan...
