How about some back-to basics, simple decorations?

I would really like to see new decorations, ones representative of what you would actually find on a farm, bucket of spilled milk, random, fallen leaves, a tuft of hay, farm tools like shovel, pitchfork, etc

Would love to see some of these decos too - bucket of milk, spilled or otherwise by the dairy, would look cool. Piles of fallen leaves to scatter around in autumn, just great.

I love all the decor that makes the farm look like an active farm. The bucket of flowers we got with the spring update is my kind of item. I'm also happy with the party buffet that is a plank on haybales. What I have been lobbying for years for are generic items that look good on the farm all year as well as seasonal (rather than "holiday") items. We get lots of flowers, but very few fall or winter items.

Here's a random selection of some of my favorites for fall that have come up in past requests:

• Bushel basket of apples
• wagon full of pumpkins (not jack-o-lanterns)
• Bundles of cornstalks
• piles of fall leaves with a rake
• BIG bonfire
• fall feast table (like the lemonade/cake one but with pies and cider)
• scarecrow

Here's for winter:

• Holly bushes with berries
• winter trees to buy (so happy we got our fall foliage ones!!!)
• birdhouse with snow
• igloo for the gnomes

Here are some generic ones:

• Clothesline with clothing blowing in the breeze
• ladder to place in the orchard for fruit-picking
• hose and sprinkler
• tree with treehouse (love my tree with tree swing!!)
• butter churn (that could actually be a machine to take some pressure off the dairy at high levels)
• compost/manure pile (I can envision some flies over it)
• Small garden shed (we're limited to using the outhouse)
• little red wagon, tricycle
• rustic, natural wood fencing (at least give us something that matches the fencing around the cow pen)
• natural stone walls--with moss--like the ones that are around the undeveloped land plots

Lovely ideas - especially the basket (or crates would be fine too) of apples. :)

I would like to place scarecrows around my fields. And coloured twinkle-light fences to go with my house at Christmas. And as usual, a night function for during the winter holiday season. ;)

I would like to see a clothesline and a bucket of spilt milk as decorations. I would in general like to see some simple farm like decorations. I also like the idea of the rustic fence and the garden shed. Maybe if were patient that SuperCell will incorporate some of these ideas, hopefully! I really like the sound of a lot of them! Keep up thinking the cool ideas! :smirk:

We live in hope! Our beautiful tree swing was a request as were the fall-foliage trees.

I don't remember requesting white folding chairs...I do remember requesting cafe tables and chairs to match the ones at the coffee kiosk and sandwich cart.

...and I'm not sure who's been stuffing the ballot box with requests for gold statues.:p

Yes to all of these!

I will once again say that SC is severely lacking in the deco department. These decos are sooooooo much more interesting and fit the game so much better than the stupid musical instruments, gold statues, rock exhibit (wth?????). We want these. SC can make them and make money off of them. What is the problem?

I'm hoping some of these great ideas will be available in the next upgrade...

Love All of these suggestions. Thank you! I can tell you put a lot of thought into this. As someone who has actually lived on a farm for 40 years, these really fit the true farm concept much better than all of this gold stuff we keep getting. Most farms keep things simple and have a more rustic look - even the fancy farms aren’t usually decked out in gold! How about it SC? Great ideas here that we can all enjoy....
