I'm a newly upgraded town hall 8 coming from 7. I've bought pekkas and upgraded the lab, got the DE drill, but I can't seem to progress past that. What should I do?
Btw this is my base.
Maybe it's just me but I cannot see the picture of your base. As for progression what cup range are you at? Maybe a change in cups will help you find better raids to progress.

Dont worry man I was in your shoes about a month ago. Best tip I can give is get all new buildings to TH7 level and get all new walls to at least level 6
It will take around two weeks to get the Lab, and two troops of your choice upgraded. So once you get your farming troops up to TH8 level, it will all get better. I suggest staying at silver league so you don't get pummeled by TH9s and their Giant healer armies because you are basically a TH7 without a big loot penalty. Don't do what I did and stay in gold 1....
My troop order was
Archers
Barbs
Healer
Giants
Wizards
Goblins
Wallbreakers
