Using the DD

I am not disappointed with the DD. I flagged two crates of goat cheese, each crate requiring three pieces. I filled my RSS with good stuff and advertised in the DD. The first advertisement brought no suitable helpers, and my goods were bought. So, I refilled my RSS with another round of good stuff, and advertised again. This time someone came and bought most of the items, and filled BOTH of the goat cheese crates. They could have walked away with my lobster soup, tomato soup etc without putting down their goat cheese, but they did not do so. Most people have conscience, just like me. :-)

May I ask what is the meaning of DD?

If I foresee desperate times I will sell just a few of my best items and repeat until some angel fills my boat.

I've had many angels fill my crates :D

I completed the Captain III using the DD. At the time, I didn't know about adding people and getting neighbours, but the ones who came and bought my stuff through the DD ads helped me out a lot.

I never thought of advertising in hopes of getting help on my boat. Good idea, thank you. :) what's everyone's opinion on "good stuff" ? What do y'all think are good items ? Is it just expansion items ?

I think good DD items are stuff that I don't see much of. Strawberry ice cream, fish pie, berry juice. I also make things to max my factories so they can be converted when the war comes.

I kind of save good stuff like building material, and when I need help I sell it in DD. It always get my trees helped and sometime my boat crates are helped.

Oy, only 30 something but building material is like, buzz buzz, pollinate my flower.

I'm a helper. I like going through the paper and visiting new farms. If a crate needs filling and I have it, I give it. Happily. To me, that's what makes the game fun and global. I enjoy experiencing how other people have created their farms.

i keep lots of goodies in my stand throughout the day. I like everyone to come and find nice surprises (ice creams, cakes, feta foods, tools, as well as produce). What irritates the *bleep* out of me are raiders - others who buy everything I have, wait till I restock, and buy me out again. Sometimes 3 or more times in a row. So freakin' rude! I have to stop stocking and that ruins it for others.

As a fellow farmer, please be considerate of others. If you find an amazingly filled stand, enjoy it...once! Don't be greedy. It is a game after all :)

I try to share cool stuff when I find a well stocked shop but if it's something I've been searching for I all over it. Especially if it's in the DD. I always have "premium" stuff in my shop that's up for grabs for everyone the only time I get frustrated is when I'm stocking it, taking my time to pick a good mix and before I get a third of the way thru someone has bought if all and as a finish they have now cleaned it out. It's a game so it's up for grabs once I put it for sale but I only stock a full shop win I have the time during the day so every 3 or 4 hours and It's frustrating when it's instantly empty cause I feel like I have to do it again or everyone will miss out. Does the items that are grey now clear once you pick up the money or do they stay till you stock that space again?
