Advice on Priorities

I've been playing the game for a month or so. I'm ashamed to say I've spent a few bucks on gems, so my TH is farther than it really should be. Currently it's a TH6 and it's in the middle of an upgrade to TH7. I've just started with a farming build to help me get some needed upgrades. I acknowledge that I'm still a noob in this game, so I'm looking for advice on where and when to spend my gold/elixir.

First, here's my setup:

I'd like some advice on priorities for upgrades.

Please list in which order should I upgrade:

• Gold/Elixir production?
• Walls?
• Mortars/Towers/Cannon defenses?
• Army? (I have up through wizards and each army is 2 or 3 stars)

Also, any advice on ways to make my design more functional for farming?

First upgrade your splash defenses (mortar, wizard towers). Then archer towers and cannons and ADs and teslas. Never move to the next townhall unless you have everything at its max lvl. This includes walls

Also, you said to upgrade splash defense first. Should I do that before or after I upgrade gold/elixir production?

Splash first. You should be getting most of your g/e from raiding.

Splash defense is key also max out your lab and keep it busy! A working lab is a happy lab. The quicker you can get better troops the better you will be able to raid.

Should I spend some gold/elixir on upgrading my army?

Currently I have:

• Barbarian lvl 3
• Archer lvl 3
• Goblin lvl 2
• Giant lvl 2
• Wall Breaker lvl 1
• Balloon lvl 1
• Wizard lvl 1 (currently upgrading to 2)

Also, should I replace the cannon in the middle of my resources with my wizard tower?

I've run a couple raids and now I'm upgrading my right mortar to lvl 3. Thanks for the advice!

I decided to repair some of my premature TH-ness. I cancelled the TH upgrade, then I used the refunded gold to upgrade my wizard tower and walls.
