whats the fastest/cheapest troops composition for a trophie push from 1,200-1,800 at TH8?
I personally find about 14 wb's 1 drag in case of emergency and rest 50/50 gobs and archers, u can 1 star pretty much every base with this as most collectors/mines are outside walls so gobs clearout 20-30% with gobs then the rest of the buildings outside walls can be done with archs/clan reinforcements/heros and a drag just incase u get short. Or a more expensive army which works well for me is around 10 wb's 18 giants and rest archers, take out ad's then send in giants to clear most defenses and archers to clear the end

Barb/Archer....add minions if you want faster, leave them out if you want cheaper (but they will help you get more loot so it all depends how precious your DE is to you).
Snipe THs, you can find one every 3 or 4 nexts it seems, this is a good quick way to get trophies obviously as you can go right back and attack again. If you do just that and then farm the bases you find worth farming and just try to get 50% + on those. Won't take you long to get to 1800 and you'll profit all the way.
10 giants, 10 wallbreakers, 1 healer, rest gobs barbs and archers( gobs are not nessersary if ur not farming or looting)
just snipe the exposed townhalls , i saw someone with townhall lvl 3 did that to crystal 3 and he is only lvl 18 and using level 2 archers.
the only thing u need to beware of is the teslas and the other defensive building near the townhall , especially splash defensive like mortars , wizards wouldn't be a big threat if it is placed behind the townhall when the townhall is
exposed and u can just use ur archers to snipe them down.
the other thing is their heroes and clan castle , try not to activate them or else u will spend more troops to take down them first then only the townhall for the trophies.
the reason doing this is because u wanna save ur troops fpr the next raid.
lets say you spend 5 archers to take down a townhall ,if you have 200 archers in ur camp u can go for 39 more exposed townhalls without spending more elixir.
the only tip is to take down townhalls with as less archers as possible.
but beware of revengess. Anyway , those who put townhalls outside are mostly farmers and they dont care trophies that much .

At TH5 and TH6 the fastest and cheapest are about 80 archers and 10 giants with about 6 wall breakers in reserve. Just snipe away at exposed TH and you can get to there in a matter of days depending on how active you are. Of course at TH8 it should be quicker as you can bring into battle a lot more units compared to TH6.
bam, with or without th sniping.
Fill 2 barracks with archers and 2 with barbarians, then u can just constantly town hall sniping or you could surround the entire base with them for an easy 50%
i got to 2100 with defending.
Also sniping THs with archers.
