When will high level players get a chance to seriously revenge startup villages that cant think of anything more original than throwing lighting at your storages.
Because of loot penalty it makes no sense at all to get back at them. My suggestion would be; remove the loot penalty on revenge. This way low level players will think twice before attacking and getting the attention of a sleeping giant, who will come back at them for some serious revenge.

no. would u like it if u attacked someone, u got their loot, and now ur storages are full, and so ur mines are full. ur a TH7 that attacked a TH10. then they come back they attack u, and 3-star you. u lose 59 trophies and like 1M gold and elixir and like 1000DE. that would not be nice. its ur fault u were away from the game, n that's wat u get. removing the loot penalty is not fair the slightest bit so this is one of the most stupidest ideas ever and its in the wrong-subforum.

Nevertheless... I dont think this is the most stupid idea as stated above. If a th 7 has a go at my th10 he has a chance to take between 400k and 500k when all my collectors have just been emptied. If he manages to take it all or just a big chunk i say well done good for you. If however all you can imagine to throw some lightning taking 70k and 1500de i am far less impressed. And i feel the urge to get back what was mine...
However there is no chance whatsoever that i get any of my stuff back. If i revenge them i can get approx 5% of 200k for a full storage which adds up to not being interesting at all.
I am not proposing to change the game in such a way that i can take milions from start up towns... But remove the 5% penalty... At least to 50%. This way you will think twice before attacking a town thats much further than yours.
The comparison with farming doesnt fly... There is no way that a th10 can farm anything below th8.. Even complety deserted towns do not affer any reward with the 5% penalty... So we are not in the business of leaching startup towns...
What sort of game is it if you can mess with a champion and face no consequences...?

What trophy level were you at?
I think sc could lower the loot penalty for th ten but getting rid of it completely would be unfair because th tens have better troops(or atleast should be having) and they could easily three star a th seven to get back a lot of loot which unbalanced :/
-first of all, sorry I read ur thing wrong, now I get wat ur saying but, still that's how it is. and it also still really isn't fair. if u don't want ur DE lightninged, simple just put in the corner :P . or move up higher in trophies like crystal 2 or 1 so u get more DE quicker, and no one will lightningQuote:

My point is that the aggressor has to take a chance when attacking someone way over its head. Now its like shooting fish in a barrel. If you steal money from your neighbour or from the local mob boss... The consequences will absolutely be different... I would say discourage attacking three town house lvls higher than yours... Because they may come to youre town for answers and you will definetly not like that... As it is now, you have the teeth... But there is nothing to bite...
I hear a lot of complaints about the lightning attacks, here might be a solition to let this strategy die out... No more loot penalty on revenge. Or at least a smaller penalty

Well then by the same logic, supercell should increase the loot penalty when attacking down town hall levels. If lower levels can't farm dark elixir then higher levels can't farm at lower trophy levels. Fair is fair, right?Quote:

Couldn't agree more.
If a town hall 7 is up at 2000 ( where a TH 10 should be at minimum) then they did it the hard way and not by lightening storages.
If your farming below 1200 then I would do the same thing.
Honestly.... An active player with th lvl7 has got nothing to fear from a th lvl10 player. The reason i am at this trophy lvl (1800) is to target the farmers with full storages with lvl9 or 10 bases.. And the occasional abandoned lvl8.
The whole point of this game is to take your gold from lesser players... Either using a smart strategy or taking down a lesser village, and upgrade your own town in the progress.
My point is simply that if you choose to attack a higher lvl base you should fear the revenge button... At this point this is not the case...
