A Way To Block Lightning On Your DE

Hey guys,

I've thought about this before, but only recently joined the forums. I see a lot of threads complaining about lightning on their DE storages. My temporary solution is quite simple. Place your barbarian kind and or archer queen next to your storage. The wander around often on top of/inside the storage. I have figured out that they actually block lightning damage. Anyways, hope this helps.

Lightning is area of effect, it will damage both the heroes and the storage. The heroes do not soak the damage.

Actually, they do soak up the damage if the lightning bolt hits them. (from my experience)

They take damage but so does the storage. When you drop lightning on a pack of 20 archers it doesn't kill them one at a time does it? It's splash damage.

I agree with mintberry. There is actually a strategy where you lure clan castle troops over a specific target such as a mortar or air defense. Wipe them both out with a lightning spell. Two birds with one stone. Or rather Two birds with 2-3 stones.

Heroes are not archers, and behave differently.

Secondly - I know it is a mean place over here. This idea sounds cool! Don't let the haters drag you down :)

whats there not to get? lightning spells do splash damage AND they hit multiple areas. so it still does damage to the storage since its SPLASH and the queen/king will also take damage along with the storage. also even if it didnt do splash damage(WHICH IT DOES) the multiple strikes would still hit the storages
