Is it worth doing barracks?

Basically if you arnt going to use them then dont.

There will be more important things to upgrade.

The things you use the most are always the most important thing to upgrade next.

Do them at your leisure sir.

You need to eventually upgrade everything, and one day you may use the GoWiPe strategy. I also used pekkas to beat Sherbet towers so you might need them for that. The queue space is very useful. The most important thing though is that if you do them now YOU NEVER HAVE TO DO THEM AGAIN! OMG it's so annoying to be down a barracks! Rip it like a band aid and get it over with! :) Just try to do them one at a time, and never more than 2 at a time, unless you have the elixir and plan on going on vacation and have four free builders ;)

I had a period of having only three barracks at a time with the intent of getting them all upgraded to level 10. I tell you, it was an incredibly feeling finally seeing 4 pekka heads.

Level 10 barracks are good cos when you max up elixir you can train 12 pekkas and make some space for extra elixir.

Haha...I did this just as I transitioned to TH9 and had an extra 500k elixir for the start, and saved the last few goblin levels for then also....8 million elixir for the first hour of TH9 is very useful.

As was said, it will be a long time before you will prioritize them if you don't do them at TH8, that said if you NEVER trophy hunt you probably don't REALLY need them.
