Is it worth doing barracks?

Hi, I am about to finish maxing out my town hall 8 defenses and I have one question. Is it worth doing barracks? Mine are currently level 10,9,9 and 7. My dark barracks are level 4 and 1. Thanks in advance.

Definately. I love the extra queue space.

Get that 7 up to atleast 9. If you wanna trophy push, i reccomend getting that dark barracks up too so you can train golems faster.

Pekka Barracks look the best. Of course it's worth it.

Yes, it's a great investment,a nd best done towards the end of TH8.

I did a lot of mine quite late in TH8, and am very glad I did. At the time I did the upgrades, I was mostly running with 6 dragons + 40 minions, so upgrading a dark barrack and a regular barrack worked fine, it didn't slow my build times at all. Later on, I was also running with BAM or similar (Giants, Aracfhers and Minions), so the build time was decent I didn't miss those barracks too much.

I'd recommend that you get at least 3 regular barracks to level 10, the other at level 9 is OK. And both your dark barracks to level 4. Whether you use them all at the end of TH8 or later in TH9 is up to you, but what this gives you is a great setup for brewing Golems (golem + archers, GoWiPe, etc), Pekka (GoWiPe, etc), and Mass Dragons (6-8+minions is ideal), and be able to actually queue all the troops up for a complete build, with extra on top to be pre-brewed for the next raid. Also, it gives you the option, in TH9, or easily getting one or both dark barracks to level 5 for witches, while still able to brew whtever dark troops you might like in the other one.

If you don't do it now, your next good opportunity is a long way away...

I have 9, 8, 8, and a level 7 one going to be 8 in less than a day. I definitely don't regret the ugrades and I plan on making them all level 9 before I go to TH 8. My Dark is only level 1, but that's not a priority at TH 7. So

Believe it or not, those level 10 barracks are intimidating. :cool:

Yes, maxed barracks scare people, imagine seeing someone with 500k loot, but with trained witches, one time my friend attacked this guy, stole 700k, and found 11 dragons in his army, my friend got attacked and lost 950k, my friend was scared from barracks, but the loot was too good, if he lpayed attention, he wouldn't have done it. Long story short, upgrade them.
