Issue with linking iOS account to Googleplus Account

I have been playing on an iphone/IPAD for the past year but recently switched to Android. I downloaded clash on android and was playing around with a new town until I realized you could link accounts/devices. I tried to link from my ios device to the android device but I get the following error.

"You cannot link to your google+ account if your town hall is higher than 4 or you have made a purchase"

I believe the issue is that I have TH4 in my 'test android' account, I have mailed support from my android device but have not had a response, what is the best course of action now?

Support takes a while to respond. The only other option would be to make a new google plus account and link that to you apple account.
