The HAPPY diamond thread

This thread is for happy diamond finds and moments.
I will start:
I found 15 diamonds in lock boxes this morning and another 2 in the mine.
I decided to get 2 tombstones and call a boat. Free diamonds well spent!

Keep posts happy about found/earned diamonds and how you spent them. There are plenty of other threads for unhappy diamond complaints.

PS When I say lock boxes I mean the red boxes. Sometimes they aren't locked. I never use diamonds to open them now. When I first started playing I thought I had to open all of them locked or not.

I found a spooky ghost in my lake area this morning, and when I removed the sheet, there were three diamonds underneath! I haven't decided what to do with them yet...

I completely agree! I just got 1 diamond from the mine and 2 platinum. I never get platinum!

I got ten from lock boxes today too. I haven't done anything with them because I'm still ll recovering from all the diamonds I stupidly wasted during the lobster launch ;) I am tempted to send Tom after some bacon and eggs and shovels but I will probably resist for now :)

Nice one Besta! If anyone dares mention C****** B****** we'll send the spooks round! I don't often find them in red boxes, So it's a real treat for me. Would love to know how many boxes you had to open to get three lots, as I only get maybe five or 10 a week if I'm lucky. However I lost quite a few about three weeks ago and was feeling a bit glum about it, but in the last three weeks I managed to accumulate 66 diamonds (well 70 but I lost four). So had great fun buying a spider tree and the Candy cauldron and some fencing which I thought I was going to be able to use as posh gates but it doesn't work. I would pay diamonds for more of those lovely lantern trees though!

OMG! I've just seen Cheezfang's post about sending Tom for B and E. Never thought of that, what a dumbo! But is it worth spending 15 diamonds to win 5?

Hey Woozle. I found all the diamonds on my farm in 3 back to back boxes!! Never had that happen before. I did get the candy cauldron yesterday. I couldn't resist. I love the tombstones I got with the diamonds and the coffin from the ghost. I had the same idea about the fence so I'm glad you pointed that out. Gates would have been cool! Too bad the lantern trees weren't offered as that's the first thing I looked for in the shop. But I can always see them in the fishing area when I'm ghost hunting. ������

I always get a little thrill whenever I get diamonds from the mine. Makes me smile every time. I'll even brave the thing in the mine to get 'em! ;) And I practically jump up and down when I find them in the red boxes, cuz I get those about as often as Woozle does. Haven't found any recently, definitely love it when they show up unexpectedly. It's that euphoric moment you need when you've been wheating too long! Lol

How can you get free diamonds from locked boxes? It costs 3 just to open it and then find coins

The locked boxes are sometimes not locked (search for a thread on how to click away from the box and try again) so they open right up without using diamonds. :)

Ok, so usually I am not very lucky when it comes to winning things. But yesterday was just great. I got 2 lots of 5 diamonds from free boxes and then 1 diamond in the mine. And then nearly all the boxes I opened after that (free ones that is, I never use diamonds to open any) had vouchers in them. I had a great day....I put the diamonds towards my spooky tree. Oh, and the diamonds we got free after the update...

Just placed an order for a package and was thrilled to see the mailman delivering 8 diamonds...

Yay! finally a positive thread about diamonds :D thanks Besta!! I was just about to give up on the forum for the night hehe.

I got 3 diamonds for completing the Fisherman's friend goal :) and another 5 diamonds for getting the second ribbon in the Sports Fisher goal :o

Server had small hiccup, Alfred visited me thrice. Can't be happier.

I've had a great diamond day today. My mine offered up three, Alfred dropped off three more in my mystery package, I opened one treasure box with diamonds and I finally caught a new fish and it weighed in for the gold! Three more diamonds there. My ghost only gave up a bolt today, but I'm not complaining. Wow, I can open up some more slots on my machines finally, and I'm eyeing that ghost tree now that I can afford it!

I got 4 diamonds from the mine tonight. :cool:

I have never had a diamond day like today. I just got 4 more leveling up to lvl 73. Woo hoo! 21 total in one day.

LOL Woozle. That was cute. Mine are all locked this morning so hopefully someone else gets the unlocked boxes and yippee DIAMONDS! I've been visiting other farms. Including the amazing woozles farm and all boxes are locked for me. I had a most outstanding day yesterday so no whining on my part. Congrats Woozle!

PS I just got 3 from the ghost. I like the ghost! LOL

Got another mine diamond and was able to buy another tomb stone and cauldron! Now I can make a spooky cemetery - I hope. Hoping today is a good diamond day so I can buy the iron fence posts. Love those!

I just got one from popping Tom's balloon. It is just one, but I have never gotten one from popping the balloon, from boxes and mine but not the balloon. :o

Apparently today was a diamond day for me. Got my first diamond from the mine (love seeing that diamond after the kaboom), 3 more for completing Baconator III, 5 more for completing Sports Fisher II, and another 2 for levelling up. Not bad, wish that could happen every day! Now if I could just find more diamonds in mystery boxes... :)

Wow, I just got 5 from a red box. This is a very rare occasion for me ;)

I must be missing something... the most red boxes I have got to open in one day is three - I usually get one with coins, one with a voucher and one with an item. I've tried 'tricks' to open locked boxes and they never work.

Visiting neighbors farms today and picks up 2 x 5 diamonds from red boxes..who says diamonds are just a girls best friend? :cool:

I needed just one diamond so thought I might go mine for one and see if I got one. I did! Then I mined again, got another! I mined a third, no diamond but got a diamond each on the fourth and fifth mining attempts. 4 diamonds in 5 mining attempts? Now that is bliss. :)

Must be a good mine day. I got one diamond with 2 tries at the mine. More spooky fence for me!

Sunday morning here, woke up, first thing to do (of course) is to check hay day lol! And first treasure box I collect from my own farm, 5 diamonds!!!!!! Yippie!!!!!!! Then i check my friend list who is needing help, click in the first one, saw a treasure box, click, voila~~~~ another 5 diamonds!!!!! Such a good way to start my day!!!! ;)

I did alright too! Only got 5 diamonds from mystery boxes twice, but hey, that's way more than normal! Always such a happy surprise. Also managed to get a green and a purple voucher from boxes. ;) also got 3 diamonds from completing Land Owner III (thank you laney!) and 1 from the mine. I was so happy I promptly spent them all on getting another fish lure slot. :D No hard earned diamonds are gonna disappear here! Lol ;)

And just got another 3 for catching a gold level Rudd, thanks to the fishing tips on the forum. Thanks for sharing everyone! It would have taken me awhile to figure out the secrets of fishing, especially since I'm concentrating on other areas right now. Woo hoo!

I got a shovel from the ghost today, dragged it to the mine and got a diamond Thanks Ghost!

Got two boxes of 5 diamonds and spent them on nets :). Bought 50 earlier and used them on dynamite and mining tools, used THOSE to mine, and got BACK several diamonds. Movie ticket is still intact and got another!

This was a generous diamond day for me too... Unprecedented as a matter of fact! I received 5 diamonds from a tool box on my farm and found THREE more 5 diamond tool boxes on neighbor farms today! Received 1 diamond reward fishing, and 3 for completing my land expansions. Using the tips in the "How do I get yellow vouchers" thread, I received 1 yellow voucher and a purple one on jewelry truck orders. This was a great hay day with a total of 24 diamonds!! :D

By the way, the tips I found about finding free tool boxes really, really helped. By not "closing" the tool box when
I received the prompt that diamonds were required (and clicking outside the prompt box to close it) I was able to continue visiting friends' farms until I found an unlocked tool box. That strategy really paid off today. I really appreciate the wealth of info here in this forum!!!

It was another good morning mining. I got shovels from Tom and mined. I received 3 diamonds for 9 shovels. Pretty good day there. None from the boxes in a couple if days now. I guess I'm a miner. LOL

I hit the jack pot with 3 free mystery boxes of diamonds before I got out of bed this morning. Gotta love that! Oh, just realized how bad that sounded. But in my defense, my phone is beside my bed and just happened to check out my farm before I rose. I don't sleep with my phone, honestly, I don't....:D

LOL. Shall I confess to doing the same? My iPod sleeps on the cupboard next to my bed and I always sit in bed and do my early morning farm stuff before getting up. In my defense though, my iPod is also my alarm clock ;)

I actually got a box with diamonds in this morning too, I almost squealed at it cos it was only a couple of days ago that I got my other box of diamonds. They are really rare for me, usually.

I got 2 diamonds in my mine but when I was planting crops I accidently slid my finger over the speed button and it took all my diamonds :(

Happy happy joy joy. 4 diamonds from the mine and 5 from the box on my neighbors farm. Yep a happy day.

yeah yeah, sure sure, Goobster! ;) Methinks the kitty doth protest too much! Lol! ;):D Just kidding! That's a great way to start the day. I usually make it past brushing my teeth before I check out the forum and game in my jammies. :o I had to train myself to do that or I'd never get out of bed, no matter what I needed to do!

On happy diamonds news, the mystery boxes weren't as kind to me, however I finished my land and fish expansions (thank you laney!) and got 5 diamonds! That gave me enough to open another slot on a machine. Yay!

We spent the 15 diamonds to hire Tom for a day and made 10 runs with him. He brought us

+36 jelly beans
+27 shovels
+17 diamond rings
+9 chocolate bars

We think an investment of 15 free diamonds was worth that :) Now all I have to do is persuade the Little Peachie co-farmer that truck orders offering less than 1000XP for jellybeans should go in the trash! She love Love LOVES to put jellybeans in the truck :)

I am just getting on my farm tasks for the morning. Within my first 5 minutes I got:
1 red box with 5 diamonds, then I got a golden ticket on a truck order, then I went to help a friend and opened a red box with another 5 diamonds. Way cool :)

I started the day with 2 diamonds. I went on a serious diamond hunt and now have 29! Woo hoo! 15 from lock boxes, 3 fishing and since I had so many shovels I mined and got 9 more. Best day in a long time.

Bestajunior, I know this is off topic, but I sure hope you didn't spend all your diamonds acquiring those gnomes on your farm? I had such a laugh seeing them all lined up for the coffee kiosk, looking so cranky and impatient. They must have had a hard day of Christmas shopping!

So far today I opened a locked box containing 5 diamonds and I got 3 from mine. Even with dynamite!

Oh my! LOL no I didn't. The WoF went on a bicycle and gnome spree with me a while back. That's why I have so many bikes and gnomes. My 2 year old liked to spin the wheel and if I wasn't paying attention he spent my diamonds like a mad man. He doesn't spin anymore. :) I thought it would be cute if they were lined up for hot chocolate and a lolly. Did you notice mr snowman is in the ice cream line? LOL

Yesterday got five diamonds from opening a mystery box. I don't spend diamonds anymore to open them so I always feel lucky that automatically unlocks;)

Made enough diamonds to buy Tom for 10 days again and still be able to buy the decorated tree and a snowman! I'm a happy farmer. (:

Forgot the time span but I found 5 or 6 mystery boxes that contained 5 diamonds each (that I didn't have to open with diamonds). Also during the fishing event I caught new fish so more diamonds (forgot the total amount though).

Real money wise, it's about $1.00 I think. But, 50 can really go a long way! If you're just starting out, I suggest using them for new slots. Dairy and sugar are the most important items since they're used to make just about everything, so start with those.

:mad:I'm sorry for writing on your blog,I wasn't sure were to ask what's going on,so forgive me for the intrusion but I've been playing hay days with my grandson his four years old we managed to save 26 diamonds I haven't let him touch it in case he touched the wrong buttons and lost the diamonds to nothing as his been wanting a Xmas tree!!!! So tell me when I went OT look the diamonds had gone from 26 to 1 surly this is not wright???? I haven't spread anything up or spent them so were an earth have they gone??? Can I get them back hope someone has a heart my grandson due tues so was hoping OT get enought by then ...

Recently I read in one of the threads how to get free items from the mystery boxes without paying diamonds to open them. Today I got a diamond plus a number of other items and am happy about this. It was all free. Now when I go to another farm I check the box to see if it will open. Time consuming but worth the effort

This thread is an oldie. But I thought a fun thread nonetheless.

Today I had a pile of mining tools cluttering up the barn. Decided to go banging around in there. Got 12 diamonds!! Also found 5 at a neighbors. Best day in a long time.

How is everyone doing on finding those elusive diamonds? When I first started this thread I don't think we even had diamond confirmation yet. Whoa!!

I have only found one diamond this morning while mining. I generally have lots of luck finding diamonds (around 100 a week) but since I realized I have bought the last available production machine I am finding it hard to motivate myself to play so this last week has been a slow one for diamonds, probably about 50.

I had a mining task for the derby. Mine 90 ores, and only got 1 diamond! :unsure:

It is a huge difference in the year and a half I've been playing.... however, I'm always happy to find 8 diamonds in the town chests! ;)

I found lots of diamonds recently in gift boxes, especially on small gift boxes.

18 diamonds so far this morning. 5 from Alfred, 5 from lock box, 8 from town. Woohoo! Happy hunting everyone!

Yesterday I popped Tom's ballon and out popped a diamond!
He's such a romantic!

Last week was memorable because I got 15 diamonds in one day: 8 from a floating treasure chest in my town, 5 from a tool box while visiting a hoodmate, 2 while doing a mining derby task.

I totally agree some days are far better for finding diamonds than others. Yesterday i chased the mystery box to no avail but today the first box i tried to open gave me 5 diamonds yay. Even more surprising i got 5 diamonds for a mid level threshold reward first time for that. So today is a good day I'm feeling very smug...i mean....urm happy thats what i meant :)
