Global event - How does it work?

No one seems to know exactly how it works and what's the point to contribute with Bacon & Eggs. Here's some theory:

I notice the globe at the yellow voucher as well. Was wondering its meaning. Sound fairer for low level players.

Following Holidae theory, there can be 4 more rewards corresponding to 4 lights on the left of the counter bar. Once reached, the light lightens and unlock new reward, probably in addition with the 5 diamonds.

Is that all we get back is 5 diamonds for contributing hundreds of bacon & eggs??? Deeds would be good!!

I'm still a bit confused :confused: I know we have to collect 175000000 B&E but that's about it lol. I wonder what kind of rewards those other 2 lights are going to offer :confused: I really love this new update though.

My theory for the globe is that indicates that if all players donate b&e up to global (golden voucher second point) point, Global event will be success. Other theory is that if you fill up there you will be able to receive price from global event if it's succesfull. As for 4 lights, I'm thinking same as Holidae :).

We get all the vouchers and stuff for the personal goals too :o

Thanks for posting that graphic. I haven't seen it since I haven't hit stage 2 to unlock it yet.

Maybe the marker lights indicate the reward increase. If the goal is met maybe the reward will total 25 diamonds. I like that idea meonhoc.

Personal: Open the event board, then tap on the empty box which says "Tap to add" and press the (+) and (-) button to add the destired amount of items. You can then see the meter above which tells you how many you need to contribute to get to the next tier. There are 5 tiers (or levels/goals) you can achieve in the personal event and when you reach one, you get a special item, and sometimes more than one.

Global: All items (now it is Bacon & Eggs) you contribute to your personal event, are added to the total amount in the global event. However, you can access the current global event only when you have achieved the second tier/goal/level in your personal event (a small blue globe icon shows when it will be "unlocked"). Note that different events may unlock the global event earlier, or then later.

If I understand it right, it would be:
- personal event: contribute your items to get reward, XP and coins and unlock the global event.
- once global event unlock, you become global contributor and get a global reward (5 diamonds for now)
- personal event: continue to contribute to earn other rewards, your contribution is add up to the global counter with a meter and lights on it
- when the meter reach a light, the global reward increases

Global reward can only be claimed at the end of the event by all global contributors.
The goal of 175 millions items is arbitrary. If we don't get it by the end of this event, we can still claim global rewards unlocked by the lights.


Which leads to a social strategy: help friend/neighbor enter global event by selling B&E to them. Those B&E are also added to global counter and neighbors get a chance to get yellow voucher + diamonds. Items requested will dissappear from shop within first 2 or 3 days then would be used to help others enter the global event.

Hello, I guess I am missing something.. I started producing bacon and eggs and for some reason the progress bar at the personal event doesnt change.. Should I do something special to start producing for the Personal event? I have the produced bacon and eggs in my barn but I dont see any progress at my personal event.. Thanks!
