whats the point of archers

The archers is so awesome that they are the core of my army. Actually, my army only contains just archers.

Absolutely any troop combination I ever try, even Dragons & Hogs has some archers in it.

Just need to be careful about how you use them.

Archers are the mediators between Barbarians and Giants while the Goblins are trying to pit them against each other! You don't wanna start a war between them, do you?

All in seriousness though let me explain some concepts in the game:

The archer is good for shooting over walls, but weak against mortars. You generally wanna spread them out to minimize the splash damage of mortars.


The goblins attack resources, but the most general reason why they are attacking walls is because in order to get to the resources they must destroy the wall to enter

You can get flying troops from your clan or when you get to TH7= Dragons and minions. You can get a healer (flying troop) in TH6, but it doesn't attack, but heal


TH means Townhall for short.

Yes ur right however we have mortar level 8 now but still level 6 archers could be killed by level 6 mortars in single shot which u can get at TH8.. Level 6 archers are way too weak for TH10.. imagine fighting against level 8 th with level 3 archers, its like same thing.

Use BArch - barbs in first to draw mortar fire and archers behind taking out the buildings, works for me.
