Our 7th match is, unfortunately, hard to call it "fair". We are facing a heavily engineered clan.
Our lineup is the same, 2 TH10s at the top (with Infernos), 5 TH9s, 2 TH8.5, 10 TH8s, 6 TH7s.
Theirs: 1 TH10 w/ Infernos, 1 TH11 (max valk/loon/hound/bowler/miner, K25/Q25/W15) no Infernos, no EA, 1 TH9.5, 5 TH9s, 8 TH8s, 4 engineered TH9&10, 5 TH7s.
What's interesting is that most, if not all, of their TH8s are missing 1-3 defenses (wiz tow, arch tow, or canon), or the defenses are low levels. Their villages have all the walls outside, looked to be recently placed. It looked like they were defenseless/wall-less bases before and they are now trying to build up.
This will be our toughest war since new MM. Their TH11, if he's decent in attacking at all, can wipe out our TH10s easy.
Still... 1 out of 7 matchups being not fair, I guess I still call it a good progress, better than before.
4 matches : 2 were fair, 1 was unfair : enemy had far greater attacking power vs us ( due to engineering th11's) .. our last macth a disaster : no engineering .. but the max out 1 th11 with 2 max th11's on the other side. Our nr2 was a th9.5. What ♥♥♥♥ !!!
just found another war and likely to be a win. we are 5W/1L since the changes and we can blame ourselves for that loss because we let the search go for 58 minutes and also included two .5s in our line-up. every other search has been under 24 minutes with no .5s
5 wars post MM update, 4 of which completed.
So far we haven't drawn any engineered clans or clans with multiple engineered bases, but then again we didn't used to as our bases are fairly balanced.
In 4 matches, we have been disadvantaged up top especially by big Wardens/TH11 offence, losing 2 of them.
Current match we are down 1 Eagle but have an offensive/hero advantage...so match is in our favour.
Last 2 wars before MM change were against heavily engineered clans.
3 wars after MM change, quite balanced opponents...
We are not engineered, I'm a TH11 w/o EA (i'm going to put it soon) with maxed defenses (towers, mortars... but IT lv3 and xb lv 4).
We have another TH11 (new), 2 TH10, 3 TH9 y some TH8 and TH7 in wars of 10.
We upgrade the TH after maxing everything but heroes.
Quite good for us the new MM at the moment. We win beacuse we attack better, not because of high offensive difference.
