How long would you stay at maxxed th9 for walls/heroes only?

Would stay to max heroes mostly, or at least get them to 20, but walls you can work on slowly when you get to 10. Walls do nothing against balloon/minion and hog attacks, just to keep a perspective :)

I'm approaching that stage now so I'm glad to see a thread on it... I've done my wizard towers, cannons, mortars and currently upgrading my x-bows...

I was thinking of camping out on TH9 until I'd got all level 9 walls and heroes to at least level 20. The loot penalty is a factor but the main factor is that the TH10 and other upgrades actually look ugly! :) haha! Need to keep me village pretty

lvl 9 walls are pretty easy. Have about 12 more left and they maxed the same time when my defensive structures are done. But heroes/lvl 10 walls will take forever. Maybe a month to farm the core walls and get my heroes to 17/18, I'll move on. If you ever trophy pushed past masters, you would know how the gap between th 9/10 is very wide. Even a premature th 10 that has only max xbows/infernoes/a few splash and purple walls is way better than a max th 9.

totally agree on the ugliness of TH10 stuff, especially the wizard towers! I have found a great new clan full of people at a similar stage which I think will give me the impotus to stay and work on my walls. Will see how it goes for a while at least

You mean "stomping level 8s with maxed out troops and supply while getting tons of money from them and shredding attacks with inferno towers isnt as enjoyable"? Poor you. Bad supercell, bad!

I am a th8 raiding around 1700 and more than 50% of bases there are th9 which doesnt have a big penalty to th10, a lot of those got full storages. So not sure what the problem is. Or wait... you want FREE loot. No, sorry.

in my opinion lvl 10 walls while farming is just too long, if i maxed out my th9 base i would just get lvl 9 walls get my heroes to lvl 14 and move on, ive seem people who have got inferno towers while at th10 and farming and it didnt take them too long, and if th10 does truly suck and start to get boring, i would just quit the game. im not going to play coc forever
