How to discourage DE Lightning.

Everyone complains about this and it does get annoying but I always say, "Don't get mad, get even and then some."

First, tell your clan you'll be leaving for a few minutes and assure them you'll be back.
Go to the person's clan the lightnigned out your DE.
Show the replay of them doing it and include their name. "Thanks a lot to your clan member 'namehere'" Especially do this if they don't leave a shield.
Fill every current request with goblins and wallbreakers-primarily the person that attacked you if possible.
Explain that's what happens when you lightning DE and that you will be venging their base for 100%
Leave and return to your clan (helpful to have your clan set to invite to avoid the other members coming back and doing the same to your clan--Hey! Clan wars! :rolleyes:)

Interesting idea.

Why not also take the opportunity to 100% your new clan mate and then share that replay too with a nice message! ;)

Also lightning rods have been presented a a building to deture this.. but your idea is way cooler

Ya I thought of that too but I figured you'd only be able to get in once because the second time you get in you'll be kicked out really fast so you can either show proof that they lightninged your de (thus discouraging it) or embarrass the person (and somewhat discourage it but you don't have proof they did)

Yep, if Supercell ever allow gemming of replays, instead of waiting 30 mins, this would probably be the only time for me :)
