no problem! I was happy it helped someone. I got so excited I tapped it without taking a picture and ran a DD ad to let players know about it. Then tried to get to forum to make a thread. I felt like a headless chicken.

I wish I took a picture of it. I was surprised it looked like a sheet ghost and not like those sheep ghost. LOL! Hopefully there will be different ones. I really like the candy basket but it cost five diamonds. I already spent mine on production slots.

I think it only hangs out for 1 hour a day, but it's a different hour each day, so we need to keep an eye out, and when you see it, sound the alarm!

Only one way to find out is when people report it to forum. It will give a good idea if people can have multiple chances or not. At least another way to make the game interesting, eh?

No, I guess not. I may have just inferred that from this section of the update log:

• Occasionally, a very special Halloween ghost will appear in the fishing area for every player at the same time. If you spot it, let other players know on our forums and Facebook page. Tap the ghost and it might drop a super unique decoration for your farm.

Nothing there says once a day, just occasionally. So maybe multiple times a day! :D

Thanks! It might have worked longer than 30 seconds if I had 10 cornbread or roasted tomatoes to keep it in DD. But I was wheatin' at the time. And I didn't even realize to place a message on FB. Hope some else did.

You can change the name of your farm into a message, and that is displayed in the newspaper. So if you change the name of your farm to "The Ghost is out!", and place ads, other people browsing the newspaper will see it when they see your add.

Not unlike people who change their farm name to "Need Syrup for my boat!"

Based on Nick's post which showed for me 5 hours ago, and you posting just now, which is 1:15 where I live, and I got one roughly 10 minutes ago, I bet we can expect it every 5 -6 hours. Did anyone notice the head of the ghost looks like the comb on the chickens head? Maybe this will be a clue as to what each item may contain? The secret coffin hides a chicken inside. Too funny.

Yes, it's random so far. Not sure how long it stays but SC stated that it will show up for everyone at the same time.

Check your fishing areas now, it may still be there!

There are trading threads where you can trade for land deeds. One is called "trade expansion and mining..." Something or other like that. It's always on the first page of the list of threads on the general forum. There is a posting about guidelines on the first page I think.

Those are the original trees that were on the farm to begin with, they have just been changed for the season. You might not have them because by your level you have already cut them down. I wish I had them too! 😞
